  1. Man, that's funny. People paid several thousand dollars more for their Hybrids as compared to an equivalent vehicle from the same manufacturer. Most never did the math to figure out to just break even, they had to drive their vehicles anywhere from 100-200k miles. And that was going by EPA estimates. Now the real world data comes out, that's thousands extra spent for very little gain at all. Of course, the cost of repairs is higher due to a more complicated drivetrain, crappy performance, etc. The consumer looses out big time. From the few prices I've seen on used Insights, their resale hasn't been all that hot either, espeically when compared to other Honda models.

Well, a GTP isn't an economy car. And anything is quicker than mine right now, since it's not running. The question is, is his quicker running pump gas at somewhere not as sticky as Norwalk (aka Trails), in less than ideal conditions?
  3. Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness are not really horror movies IMO. This was very obvious w/ Army of Darkness, as it went deeper into the comedy realm (and was the best of the 3 IMO), but all were just comical.
  4. I have no idea. Call in and ask. I work on the service side of things (basically fixing stuff), so I have no way to access any of that info.
  5. Probably isn't gonna happen. The cost of growth is insane. For instance, it costs us (or anyone else, as this is contracted type work) $6/foot to have fiber ran. Can you imagine the cost of having fiber ran just through ONE neighborhood. Add in the cost of nodes, cost of adding hardline, adding peds, etc......it gets INSANE very quickly. Basically, there has to be a heavy demand to justify running lines to a certain area (also has to be within Franklin county, due to contractual cable laws w/ counties). That, and I have zero pull/say in where we expand, or any knowledge of future construction efforts.

    muy comical!

What sucks about them?? I don't have many complaints about my Verizon service....no Sprint; my work phone is a Sprint, and I can go on and on about the constant problems with their crap (crap being a nice term for garbage cellular service).
  7. Then that means 99 Cobras must run low 15's. I raced the guy, and have the time slip stuffed somewhere; that's what he was racing all day, in decent track conditions no less. By your theory, that's how it is. If you argue this, then you are proving you are wrong about the GTO, and we can't have that, now can we??? Regardless, GTO's aren't meant to be drag strip kings anyway; they are a nice GT car, good handling, with power to go along with it. If you think your Moostang is as nice as a GTO, you are dillusional.

Exactly. No sense in dumping money into a wrong wheel drive economy car.
  9. I've raced a stock 99 Cobra at the strip that ran consistant low 15's in the mid 90's MPH range. They must all run that too.

  11. Wish in one hand, shit in the other, see which one fills up the fastest.
  12. Other than the wing and exhaust, the car looks good from the outside at least. Now if they could fix the problem of it being wrong wheel drive........
  13. Cool video, but must they put riced out bodies on all of those cars??
  14. You won't be seeing decent 97 C5's in the 15k range. Probably more like 17-19k being more of the norm. Just look at the prices of the late C4's. Right now you can squeeze into a decent 97-98 for around 20k, there are a few out there cheaper, but normally either a rare find or a beaten down example.
  15. Since I work for WOW, I'll be very interested to see how well Warner's 6 meg service actually works. I'll bet you'll see major bottlenecks in the network, and those speeds in many areas will only be achieved at 2am. From what I've heard through the grape vine, Warner is in a world of hurt right now; they played the price game to try to get some customers back, and hurt themselves in the profit department/ Hopefully we'll move up to 6MB on our system as well, which I'm gonna bet can handle the extra bandwidth a bit better. Our 4MB package right now offers usually around 4100-4400k down, and 510-540k up. The phone thing they are offering is called voice over IP. We'll be offering that some time in the future as well; I'm looking forward to getting that for free at home.
  16. I want to see a BBC crammed into there.
  17. That's freaking impressive. Now they need to spray it.
  18. Just because some morons make a movie, and even more morons watch/believe that movie doesn't make a Civic a race car. It is an economy car, and nothing will ever change that fact.
  19. <---- Owns a sport bike. Very happy I never had full coverage on it.
  20. Brett, I suppose I could do it that way. I figured since all of the other headers I see w/ O2 bungees welded in have them welded INTO the header, I would do the same. But that would work as well, so maybe I'll just open up the hole I have enough for that. smile.gif Hell, how much would you charge to weld it on for me (they are out of the car, I'd just have to bring them to you)?? I've never welded before, and I'm not about to start experimenting on a $550 set of headers.
  21. That was a really bad pic of that chick.
  22. The biggest thing holding me back from making progress on my car is the headers. I need to get the O2 sensor fittings welded into my headers. But I don't have a drill bit big enough to make the hole big enough. I need a drill bit that would be approx 23mm. The threads are 18mm, plus adding to the thickness around the fitting, it would be about that. I mean, if it is close and I just have to grind a bit, that's fine.....but I need something close. Anyone have a bit like this?? Once I can get the fittings in there, I can take them anywhere to get welded; it's a 2 minute job for that part.
  23. Keep the Moostang. I have a bike. Honestly, I enjoyed driving my car more. I may be in the minority on that, but that's just me. There are a lot of retards out there, and it sucks having to be on a constant lookout. Riding in the extreme weather temps sucks too. Bike insurance is INSANE. Riding in the rain really sucks. Dropping the bike sucks too.
