  1. +2; never heard of such a "beast."

    Surgery

I've got the same problem. It doesn't quite take up half, but close. I had a problem w/ it getting infected, and I get sore throats a lot. I'll probably have to have them removed in the next few years. I've heard the older you get, the worse it is.
  3. Desperado (Keith) TIG welded the O2 Bungees on my headers and did a good job.
  4. 9.46746% - Geekish Tendencies There were a few more I probably could have checked.
  5. Does his rear-end still roll?? If so, I would be willing to trade his rear for mine (plus some cash of course) out of my 93 S-Blazer. Has to roll, as I'm keeping the Blazer as a rolling vehicle to ease me getting rid of it. Rear-end is an open rear, 3.08 gears, ABS, has always been very quiet and trouble-free.
  6. I'm parting out my 93 S-Blazer, 2 door, 2WD, auto, ONLY option being the CPI motor. It was rear-ended, and pushed into the vehicle in front of it. None of the body panels are really worth anything on it. The truck itself was definately no show winner, or something you'd really want to take a date in (not to say I haven't ), so if you want some mint parts, look elsewhere. In the next week I'll be pulling the motor/tranny. I think the tailshaft was damaged in the accident (leaks), so I'll be having a buddy go through it. I'll only sell the motor as a whole. I have to keep this as a rolling vehicle, so can't sell the rear-end, or front stock suspension. Pictures Aftermarket stuff: - Class II U-haul hitch w/ ball mount and 2" ball + wiring harness; couple years old, a quick repaint probably wouldn't hurt it: $75 - Belltech 3" front drop springs/3" rear drop blocks. Maybe 5k on them, they were installed last summer. $70 - Edelbrock TES headers/Y-pipe. Includes both headers, bolts, header gaskets, Y-pipe "donut" gaskets, y-pipe, and the little slip-fit extension I had to buy to give it enough length to allow it to mount to the cat. As w/ any used header, I'd suggest getting new gaskets. And like any painted Edelbrock header, the paint lasted less than a week, and are kind of rusty. $150 - American Eagle rims w/ tires. Tires still under warranty w/ Discount Tire. I'll need to get more pics/tread depth info before selling these, so you know exactly what you are buying. Could use a good cleaning. Would prefer not to ship, but if I have to $350, $300 if you will throw in a junk set of rims/tires (something that will hold air for a day so I could move the truck around, of course they must fit on the truck). Otherwise, just ask and I'll try to get a pic (if possible) of the item you are interested in. If you want a high-res pic of something, just ask. The aftermarket stereo in the pics is gone (in my Jimmy), and the aftermarket gauges are garbage, so you don't want them. smile.gif Either PM me or post in here.
  7. I just can't understand people wanting vicious dogs. I want a dog I can always trust, and don't have to worry about when other people come over, or if he/she gets loose.
  8. You seem about as bright as your buddy w/ the Silverado. This thread isn't about Jeeps, no one mentioned Jeeps, so either behave or you can be graemlins/banned.gif Either way works for me, but it WILL be one or the other.
  9. And where were we talking about new LS1 cars?? Looks around. No where.
  10. A couple years ago my big screen had some problems where it wouldn't power up, though the power light came on. Took it to a place on Main Street; not the greatest area of town, but they weren't overpriced either. The TV ended up having a couple of problems, one being intermitant, but they stood by their work and fixed the problem w/ no additional out-of-pocket expense. The TV has worked flawlessly since. The next big screen I buy will be a DLP, though. Cheaper than LCD, definately cheaper than Plasma, and like the LCD won't screen burn. Much more managable size than a CRT based TV, no adjustments needed, and the picture is awesome.
  11. She was embarassed??? Trust me, she should be far more embarassed about being the size of a house than being rejected from getting into a cab. There's no excuse for being that big.
  12. They make all sorts of gauge pods for Fox Body's. Hit up Jegs and go ape shit. Seriously, the factory gauges on Fox Body's are pretty sad. Go aftermarket.
  13. But I bet that 10k 98 LS1 is going to be in a lot better shape than that 1k CRX. I know what a 1k Civic hatch or CRX looks like; rusty fenders, beat to hell paint, etc. Then you look at it financially; that 10k LS1 can be financed, so you are just making payments every month at a reasonable interest rate. That CRX is going to cost constant out-of-pocket, and take far longer to just build it to "stock LS1" performance. I mean, a 5 year loan on a 10k car is going to be approx $200/month car payment; not a real hefty payment. At that same rate, you'll have to wait 5 months to buy that beaten down CRX. A year to buy the suspension/brakes, 2 years to afford the motor.....are you getting the idea here??
  14. Depends if the person dying or getting life flighted caused the accident by being a total dumb fuck. I just don't have much pitty for some of these morons on the road. I avoided that area like the plague last evening. "Luckily" I had to go to Galloway to repair a PC, so I just too 670 over to the East side instead of navigating through that mess.
  15. That's not exactly bright at ALL leaving a purse visable in an unattended vehicle in that area. That's definately not a "high class" area of town by any means; there are bars on the business windows for a reason.
  16. Hehehehe, driving around in my work van, the cops seem to give a pass on those. I got clocked for SURE at 76 in a 65; cop didn't even blink an eye.
  17. Damn, I wasn't expecting that to happen.
  18. If anyone ever wonders why sport bike insurance is so stupidly expensive, this video is the exact reason why that is.
  19. I think this is conclusive; the gayest things ever done to a vehicle 99% of the time wear a Honda badge.
  20. Shawn is gonna be in Renault heaven!!!
  21. If you own an F-body, you should at least know how to spell Camaro.
  22. I love the pics of the owner w/ the car. Nice belt he has on there.....always good to tuck your T-shirt under your belt but outside your shorts.
