  1. +11Million Also, if you're into a little more "thinking man's comedy" - Eddie Izzard. That dude is funny, even though he does occasionally wear a dress.
  2. Me three. They have some of the best nachos evar also. The "only good when you're drunk" comment got me thinking of a place with terrible pizza, but open really late back in the day (4am I think). I just remembered the name of the place - Gumby's.
  3. I always found Hound Dog's to be the tasty goodness. It has been a long time, but I used to throw down on some Pepperoni, Extra Cheese, Spicy Sauce, Smokin' Joe's style on a very regular basis. On topic though I don't think they do single-giant-slice-to-go, just whole pizzas.
  4. Not to further derail the derailed topic... but regarding Malt Liqour... Even though I tend to drink "good" beer most of the time and also homebrew fairly regularly, I find sometimes I like to go "slumming" and try out super-cheap beers I've never had just for the hell of it. I have tried a lot of different malt liquors lately and have to say I actually kinda like Hurricane. Sometimes you'll find a $12 4-pack of Dogfishhead 90 minute IPA and a 24oz hurricane for $1.09 right next to it in my fridge. It's sacrillege, but I think it's good to expand your horizons. Is anyone else like this? What else is good? Oddly enough, I haven't tried King Cobra and ave considered trying it lately. I'll have to look around for the Schlitz Bull Ice recommended above.
  5. What does it weigh? I have been considering a cheap trailer, but only have my Cherokee to tow it. They are rated at to tow 5K, but I wouldn't personally want to push it over 3500 lbs or so (even though it is a Cherokee GT Spec-V Type-R) What work does it need, anything major?
  6. What is this thing called work you speak of? I like to think of this as Multitasking Practice.
  7. Yeah, I really don't think it would take much. They don't weigh a whole lot to begin with. I'm not sure about the Wranglers, but I think the Cherokees are usually around 3300lbs. Not super light, but alot lighter than the new breed of bloated "muscle cars".
  8. Also I wouldn't choose a Jeep to be a 140+ highway machine either, by the way, but I think something along those lines and some boost would be an awesome DD.
  9. I think that's interesting and different, but I would because I'm a Jeep squirrel. Fuel for the fire: Maybe go with a Cherokee and the NP242 t-case (Full-time 4x4, similar to AWD). It's a little longer wheelbase and you can still get decent axles for it (D44 or the 8.25 29-spline). Hell, if you did a Grand Cherokee you ditch the leaf springs and you'd be able to buy an Eibach pro-kit for it, as well as the possibility of finding one already set with a V8. V8 GC's are not real hard to come by for cheap and offer a decent ride (and many of them are part-time 4x4 as well). Also, Deathwobble shouldn't be an issue if all of your steering parts are in good shape and the alignment is right.
  10. Agreed. Except, of course, the Shelby Cobra and Daytona Coupe replicas... and only if done right.

  12. I bought a Dutch Oven last Thursday at Target. I wish I had known they were free.
  13. So do Fire, Falling Trees, Predators, and thousands of other things found in their natural habitat. I guess they'll have to ban all of those after they ban fireworks. Fail PETA, Fail.
  14. Possibly dumb question, but - Does the upconverting DVD player allow you to select 720P output? I'm looking to match the native res. on my TV so that it doesn't have to then convert it back down to 720.
  15. Also - way more simple but easily overlooked... make sure you not only have the wires connected to the right cylinder but that you have them going the correct order around the cap. If it's a late model motor it's 13726548 and the rotor spins counter-clockwise. I have almost been bitten by this once or twice myself. (wires on in the "right" order but went clockwise instead of counter)

  17. Working... I.T. Not that I'd dare try shopping today. I hate crowds and am not much of a shopper anyway.
  18. Maybe the $179 price is only if you're already eligible for an upgrade? That's how it is for me on AT&T. I just bought the wife an iPhone, but since I'm only a year into my last upgrade it would have cost me full price for the phone.
  19. I don't believe Jaeger actually contains deer blood currently, although given it's supposed origins I could believe it may have originally. Jaegermeister (I think) means "Master Hunter" in German. That and their logo being the head of a deer makes me think that some crazy ass German hunters could have made some herbal-deer-blood-blitzkrieg-hunting-fuel such as this back in the day. Also, PETA, the FDA and Disney would piss fire on your grandmother's walker for selling a product containing Bambi's blood.
  20. It'll cost a bajillion dollars to finish, but rumor is that the original 'glass front end and engine have been located. Also, from the notes on the auction, the seller seemed to indicate that Jay Leno was the buyer, so if that's true - he's got the money to finish it at least.
  21. I saw this the other day and all I can think is how sad it is that I'm so amazed someone let him know what he had instead of f-ing him on the deal. I think it was originally a buy-it-now for 4k or something.
  22. I always tell my wife that I was only in it for the cake.
