Hey all, Changed the oil/diagnosed a hesitating problem (90% sure its the coil pack) on a 2001 VR6 Jetta with 88,000 miles. To be honest I was impressed with this car- very nice ride quality, seemed quicker than I expected, and very solid feeling, I bet it would handle ok but I didn't take any turns to notice- Shout out to you VW guys- I guess the maintenance costs may have a brighter side.

Thanks for all the compliments and bumps! Ryan, they are MAC white face gauges I bought from 50resto.com I painted the needles flourescent orange with testors paint from a hobby shop. I am happy with them. A lot of guys leave them white but white on white looks strange to me.

This car is extremely fast while maintaining excellent drivability. I bought the car basically stock and it has been built right with the best of the best. Modifications started with subframe connectors and torque box reinforcements and ended with a built 31 spline rear-end, a Trickflow top-end kit, a Novi 1000 supercharger, and a custom dynotune by Rob and Don LaSota for a very conservative 365 rwhp at only 5 psi.
