Oh I am well prepared. If no one's hating on your decision, you're not doing it right :gabe: GTI is a great car, but a few things about it bother me. The plaid seats are revolting, and the interior is a sea of gray. And I don't think I'd be able to get the options/configuration I want without a sunroof, a huge annoyance to me. Additionally, I got D-plan through Ford so being far below invoice helped the decision. EDIT: Also, I'm sick of BMW. I hate to agree with Jones, but holy hell I hate BMW interiors. The cars that are being thrown around (BMW, Golf R, etc) are all $35k+ cars. The Focus I'm getting is below $25k after plan pricing.

As much as I like RWD cars, I hated the FR-S/BRZ and there's no other car out there that really fit my needs with RWD.

Most things I've read indicate pretty good handling right off the bat. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics come stock, and while I never totally trust magazines, they all seem to think it pulls north of .9g on the skidpad. And no, couldn't do FIAT. I was hoping that the Punto Abarth Evo would be here by now :fuuuu: but alas. rustles, I've never liked AWD cars. we had an '08 R32 for a while and I absolutely hated it.

I ordered one a week ago. Drove it a couple times and was enamored with the whole package, so I got an ST2 mid-level with the partial leather Recaro seats and MyFord Touch. I originally hated that system when I was selling Lincolns, but I think they've made a lot of progress in terms of simplifying the system (on the Focus at least). I'm not expecting it to never have a glitch, but the several hours I spent with it were seamless and enjoyable. Anyone here have one or know anyone with one? I'm considering a few basic changes at the start mostly appearance related (clear bra, mud flaps to keep the paint free of chips, wheels powdercoated) but wanted to see if anyone else here had some experience. Cobb accessport probably won't happen til after warranty's gone.

1) Sounds like you are doing what needs to be done; collect and keep evidence, have everything in writing, and don't get emotional. Keep it up. 2) Her lawyers are smart. Suing the HOA will be very costly to her and she will be pitted against an organization with an established legal footing and community funding. If she sues you, it is very unlikely that she would win a court battle. However, that's not the point. Her lawyers want to suck you into what they want you to think will be a costly legal battle; the solution they will offer you? We won't sue if you close your garage. That's the only reason she'd sue you. What I would do is consult a lawyer, but I would probably go to her, ask her what her ultimate goal is and why she is bothered by you working on your car. Don't be confrontational, but explain to her what I just explained; that if the two of you can try to talk it out and see if your differences are resolvable WITHOUT lawyers, you both stand a much better chance of living in peace. Don't listen to the snobs, you can sail anywhere. I learn to sail on Lake Ossipee in NH which is about the same size as Hoover. I started with a Sunfish which is stupidly easy to learn on, and then spent many afternoons in my dad's Laser. Or to be more specific, many afternoons ON the Laser trying to right it.

I thought Trent Reznor liked Cash's version of Hurt more than his own? Reznor has had some shit in his life, but when Cash sings it you can hear a lifetime of pain oozing out of the guitar. Looks like both Senate and Gen Assembly are 60/40 split in favor of Dems, and while Christie straddles the aisle pretty well, he's definitely a pro-business Rep and I don't think he's looking to deal with the political fallout of not vetoing these measures. Especially considering he's one of the best available of a small pool of 2016 presidential candidates. As a raging moderate, he's one of my favorite potential candidates.

It's only passed the House, now it goes on to the Senate and then Gov. Christie has to sign it or veto it. I could be wrong but I think that's what happens next.
