  1. superbowl meats I'm smoking: brisket butt ribs wings stuffed sausages with kraut, cheese, and jalepeno's. I smoke stuff on average of once a week year round. A few weeks ago it was 20 degrees out and my smoker was running. Next to cars and hunting smoking is my favorite hobby.
  2. why would you build your own woman and then program her to talk??? You wanna impress me?? Program her to do dishes and not talk.
  3. I would be more interested in seeing how I could get my son involved.....are there any starter/training classes for young kids at circleville? He's 6 so he's pretty young. He slings the 4 wheeler around in the back yard which I know isn't the same thing but he does have a concept of gas/brake and how to steer his way out of skids.
  4. pretty slick idea.....that doesn't look that hard to make either.
  5. I meant go with slicks on 15's....I pretty much just started rambling in that post at some point. If I had it to do over again that's probably what I would do. I also agree on the stall but not really the gears.....I wouldn't put a dime into a 10 bolt.
  6. just opinion so take it as such....if you're just running them at the track why not just go slicks? Kinda defeating the added bonus of a drag radial IMO. It's pretty nice to be able to drive to the track and not have to swap tires out. I ran nitto's up until last year then bought a set of MT's and put those on an extra set of rims. I still run nitto's around town and swap wheels to the MT's here at the house the week I'm going to the track. I only do a couple track days a year. I cut a 1.71 on nitto's and a 1.68 on MT's but the MT's were way more consistent than the nitto's were. I'd see some 1.8x's with nitto's and never got close to 1.8 with the MT's. When my nitto's are done I'll just run MT's all the time. I just like the nitto's because I can get way more life out of the tire on the street. If I had it to do over again I would probably go to a 15" rim and slicks. I almost did that last year instead of the MT's but changed my mind.
  7. I would say if your wife is ever going to be doing it then I would go transfer switch. Being all electric is what's killing you......hot water heater, furnace, and things like that eat a ton of energy. That's just not going to run very much for you.....think if the power goes down in the winter time which is when it's more important really to have one. I run a 5500 here and I'm not all electric but I can also run my entire house including my well pump on that although I never do. I just backfeed mine through the dryer breaker. I use the 220 side of the generator with a 4 wire cord and send 1 wire down each leg of the breaker. Definitely not the smart way or correct way to do it but it's worked fine the 2 times I've had to do it in 8 years. Just kill the main disconnect and fire the generator up.
  8. I'll tell you what really sucks. I spent most of my childhood hoping it would snow so that school would be cancelled. Now I have kids in school and find myself hoping for the same shit. I've came full circle.
  9. anyone know why that embargo hasn't been lifted?? Aren't we passed all of that yet? Kinda silly at this point IMO.
  10. if you're into german war era type movies Defiance is another good one to watch if you haven't seen it. It's based on a true story so it's quite a bit different from this one but still a pretty good movie.
  11. news flash.....most people are just stupid. I saw a lady a few months ago come into a Mickey D's bitching because she had to pull forward in the drive thru and wait for her food. A few minutes later they gave her like 8 or 9 bags full of shit that she'd ordered as she was still bitching. Mental note....if you order enough food through a drive thru to feed a small army it might take a few minutes.
  12. About all this thing does is channel farts out around your head.
  13. both.....I have a ton of this kinda stuff to hold against him when he gets older and a smart ass.
  14. yeah, he's not digging the buttermilk.
  15. for 2010 dad of the year. This is what happens when you fix a before bed snack for your kids and substitute buttermilk for chocolate milk. My son is gonna kill me in my sleep when he gets a little older.
  16. Someone should catch him in that and beat his ass with a ball bat.
  17. if someone can't work a blanket then I doubt they'll ever figure this thing out.
  18. ain't that the truth. You can also spot the first time parents a mile off. They're super protective and worried about everything.....that goes away. You worry about everything for a while then when the second kid comes along you're more in stride with things.
  19. I used to be into models quite a bit. Built a lot of nascar cars and stuff like that. I've been thinking about it a lot this week and plan on getting back into it. I started helping my son build his pine derby car for scouts this week and remembered how much I enjoyed doing that stuff. Here's where we're at on his car..... I bought an extra kit and plan on making another one when I'm done with this one. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/012.jpg
  20. nesting is the best part of the whole thing. People like to think we're this superior being but in the end we're just animals. She'll start nesting towards the end and cleaning the shit out of the house and painting walls and shit like that. The only advice I can give you is to buy plenty of extra beer and plan on spending more time in the garage until it's over. Once it's over it's piss, poop, and puke for a while. The first year sucks but after that it's smooth sailing.

    Do Not leave

My dumbass did that the first year I moved up here from the south in a 75 cutlass I had. I had a leaky radiator and would just top it off with water.....didn't fly up here. Froze up and pushed out a freeze plug. Lesson learned. I saw what I'm guessing was your truck on 33 Saturday afternoon unless there's more than one gearheadz automotive. . A girl was driving it.
  22. I just skimmed the article but have they released an estimated price? I did see where they were saying 412hp and estimating a high 12 1320'......that seems like a really low estimate to me. I now return you to your audi vs the world thread......
  23. you can plug the EGR hole in the intake with a 1 3/8" exandable freeze plug if you have too. The headers will bolt right up. If you do this you really should get a tune and have the egr timing adder table zero'd out.
  24. Bay's out by Lancaster does a good job. I shot a 13 point 2 years ago during bow season and it was really warm and I had 3-4 days left to hunt so I took it up there. First time in 10 years I've taken a deer to a processor. They offered just to cape and store it for me for $20 which I thought was really nice of them. I just had them butcher it and they did an excellent job. PM if you want directions but it sounds like you've decided on Thurn's. Just thought I would throw that in there.
