  1. that's a damn nice buck.....big body on him too. Congrats.
  2. I'm borderline with the muzzleloader. I'd like too but I hate buying that 4th tag just for those 4 days and I already have 3 deer so I don't really need another one. We'll see....good reason to get out of the house for a few days.
  3. shot deer #3 this morning http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/006resized.jpg
  4. I HATE Time Warner but this looks like Fox to me from the way that reads. Other than watching football TWC could drop fox altogether over this and it wouldn't bother me. Somebody is gonna get the subscriber one way or the other though. What's your options? Pay per view football would be a cool option except you know they'd stick it to you on the prices. I'd like to have the option to see whatever game I wanted to see and would be willing to pay to do that but not some absurd amount that they would most likely charge.
  5. agreed....it's pretty nerve racking sitting during gun season. I have a rule that I always follow and NEVER break. I NEVER walk into or out of the woods in low light. I either go in and come out when it's pitch black dark or I go in or come out in broad daylight. If you go by shooting times that would put you walking out right at dusk. I always just hang out a while until it gets completely dark before coming out and this guy here is one of the main reasons I do that. you'd be surprised at the tricks your eyes will play on you in the woods. You'll see things that you think is one thing and after further examination it ends up being something else. Not to mention this fella doesn't sound like a spring chicken so there's no telling what shape his eyes are in. People definitely don't take enough precautions when hunting and if this guy is pulling the trigger on something he's not 100% what it is then he has no business being in the woods with a gun. That's another bonus to bow season...you have to be up close and personal before you shoot at something. That still doesn't keep people from making stupid ass decisions and killing someone but it cuts way down on it. I would still think you're legal shooting a shed buck....the letter of the law states 3" of antler which they technically wouldn't have. I would think it's considered an anterless at that point.
  6. shot number 2 this morning. Just a 4 point but he has a nice body on him for a 4. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/4point-09.jpg going out tomorrow to try for number 3......shot this one sitting at the same tree as the first one.
  7. took my 6 year old son out and let him sit with me Monday afternoon. Shot a real small button buck that I thought was a doe. Normally would've passed on that deer and I passed on a dozen bigger than it was during bow season but I wanted my son to have the experience. He was excited about it so it all worked out. Sucks if you go sit for hours and not see anything and I was glad that didn't happen on his first trip out.
  8. just a fishing boat. 18.5' Sea Nyph with a 50HP Evinrude. I'm going to replace the charge pack next spring and see if that does the trick. I don't have a peak reading volt meter so I'm at the guessing game stage now. I thought I fixed it 2 other times last year but no dice. Just intermittently loses spark to both cylinders.
  9. I'd be happy just getting mine running. Took it out twice last year and fought an ignition issue the rest of the year. I WILL get it running this spring......hopefully.
  10. pretty decent really. They're not a 4x4 by any means but they have a pretty good traction control system and they're a fairly heavy car. Not sure if you remember but about 3 years ago we had a nasty ice/snow storm that hit overnight. Roads were terrible. I drove from Lancaster to Columbus and back to pick up my daughter and didn't have any problems. As long as you drive with some common sense you'll be ok but that's the case no matter what car you're driving.
  11. I just changed the lock up settings for mine to only lock in 4th above 45mph. I don't really do much city driving though so heat really isn't an issue with mine. I have a 3500 with a 2.0.
  12. the pacesetter's normally have issues of banging the bottom of the car. Took me a bit to get mine under there but it was mostly fixed with the angle of the pipe going over the axle. Changing that angle a little made a big difference up near the front of the car. Did you play with that on your TSP Y? I've always read those were the preferred Y between them and pacesetter.
  13. what other mods? I would personally look in the 3600 range but like what's his face said....talk to the people at yank or PI and get their input.
  14. you guys aren't seeing the big picture here. The bonus to the proposed location is not only do you get to go shoot at the range but you also get to shoot your way in and out of the place.
  15. I could work with you a little on the price but I don't want to give the car away. How far away are we talking? PM me an offer.
  16. these were the 2 reasons I bought this car. The yellow is definitely an attention getter and I'm an auto guy. It's really been a great car to DD and I'll miss the hell out of it when it's gone but I have the diesel bug and want a duramax truck. I could see me owning another Goat down the road somewhere hopefully though. Just a good mix of power and comfort. The interior of this thing is incredible. I'm going to list it on autotrader for a while and see what happens there. I'm really in no huge hurry to get rid of this car because it's a blast to own. Just need to go a different direction....I'll still have the f-body as a play car.
  17. I'm going out of town for about a week and a half to bowhunt starting tomorrow so if anyone has any questions or wants pictures I'll be able to answer them when I get back. I will be back for 1 day next Wed.
  18. time warner doesn't either...pisses me off. Wish we had DSL out here because I'd tell TW to kiss my ass. I don't want satellite and still have to use TW's cable for internet though. DSL will make it this way eventually.....I'm counting the days. TW was the last to get abc and fox HD too. Greedy bastards.
  19. wow....he was young. Sorry to hear about that. My dad died a few years ago and my mom a year later. Sucks for sure and I can't imagine getting badgered afterwards by people you really don't want to hear from to begin with. The only advice I can offer is what I would most likely do. I would save up every single letter they sent and once I felt I had enough I'd put the shit in a box and mail it all back to them. Doesn't really do anything but it'd probably make me feel better. Have you tried doing a "return to sender" on the envelopes?
  20. when you only get laid once a year there's no limits to what you're willing to do......just ask any married man.
  21. I'm selling my daily driver. It has 53,752 miles on it currently but that will go up a little I'm sure by the time I sell this. I typically only put 50 miles a week on it these days. I bought this car with 150 miles on it. It's bone stock except for the 05 hood and slotted/drilled rotors. It's a great car and has worked awesome as a daily driver and kid hauler. It has the normal daily driver stuff going...few rock chips and what not. It will need tires in the near future...probably next summer. The drivers seat has 1 wear mark on it and there's a crack in the drivers side speaker grill from me catching it with a work boot ( forgot to take pictures of that but will get 1 tomorrow). Other than those few things the car is in great shape. I try to take care of my rides and it's been kept clean and in the garage as much as possible although it has been kept in the driveway too. Only took the car to the track once just after getting it and ran a 13.69@102 bone stock. Love this car and hate to get rid of it but I want a diesel truck and since we already have 4 vehicles this one has to go. I'll post a few pictures and you can either browse my photobucket directory at the others or request them and I'll email you all that I have. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/f.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/04.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/08.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/11.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/14.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/16.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/17.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/20.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/33.jpg http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/gto%20for%20sale/39.jpg
  22. good....he's still riding it daily for the most part. I had to fix the choke on it. A nut vibrated loose and let the choke fall down. Took about 20 minutes to fix. Just had to fish the plate up and put a new nut on it. I thought I had tightened everything down on it as I heard stuff vibrating loose is common but I missed that one.
  23. gotta pimp this one a little since my brother owns it. I think they have pretty good food. http://www.columbusbrewingco.com/
