  1. The other thing is the California partnership he references is for a "Creative Mobile Interiors"-type RV manufacturer. Hardly NASA-level stuff.
  2. For what it's worth, would you HAVE to sell the house? Depending on your finances and what the wifey could score as a job, you might be able to just rent a place near Hudson and keep your Columbus house as a rental...allowing you to come back at some point. I've got a good property manager. Then, you can live "dat condo life" in Hudson (no yardwork, no home maintenance, focus on your life and cars) while still taking a tax deduction in C'Bus. Also keeps it flexible in terms of you guys moving back to Columbus at some point. I appreciated being in FL - always planning on coming back to Columbus at some point to start a family - and keeping our first home as a rental; we could always kick out a tenant and move back in if we needed to. As stated before: keep on the track for that new job, and remain flexible.
  3. Thought you girls would like a little more gossip for this drama-llama of a thread: Spoke to another shop owner in town (Wags, you talked to the guy too) who indicated the following: - Crucial: Chad is a disaster of a human being and the drama is just getting started for Eric/Carla. - Wiggs is still in town, and is trying to hock the shop equipment from CTD. - The Schtick is in a warehouse, still in his possession. Wiggs can't sell it back through MAG. - Depending on when and who is talking to Wiggs, the "assets" of CTD were bought to develop OEM parts in California. This guy questions how Wiggs can still be spending so much time in Ohio if he needs to be developing a business in Cali. - BUT....Wiggs has also talkied with Jeff Yetzer about doing "CTD Part 2"? It was way more gossip than I normally like to get into, but we both admitted you cannot be within 50 miles of Wiggs as a car guy and not be consumed with the drama.
  4. Hudson isn't that far away. Are you having to sell a home to make it work? We've talked before, Wags...now is the time (pre-kids) to move. Although, I'd also question if you're open to move, whether another location around the country (that you'd want to actually check out for a few years) would be a consideration. If the new job is a step-up, stay the course and let the opportunity dictate what you need to do.
  5. +1 to Shawn. I cover NE Ohio for work and am happy to go up, eat/sleep/work on a company card, but CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW I SURVIVED growing up in Shaker Heights. Cleveland has grown very nicely in the last 10 years...but the suburban sprawl is ridiculous and depressing.
  6. After rebuilding the top end on my E36, I've driven (and enjoyed) nearly every day. Was that article on Petrolicious? It was a black 911 in California? I remember seeing something like that as well and it inspired me to keep a solid German platform and just keep working it and driving it.
  7. Dat jacket button doe... "Jos.A.Bank suit screamin' 'D.Wiggs, I DON'T FIT YOU'!!!" - Bunny Rabbit, 8-Mile
  8. Those people do exist... They're called OTR Truck Drivers...and they catch a good amount of doll hairs down the road.
  9. 3655968233279038 5% off through end of November. Every little bit helps.
  10. I appreciate the sentiment, but I don't think Wiggs should be tied to the reasoning your think about this.
  11. I'm glad I'm not in Russia...Ukraine...wherever the hell that is???
  12. How are you guys protecting yourselves/minimizing losses on the downside? Because it's coming... Got back into SQQQ. Waiting to sell off on a couple of good gainers to see how the market goes this week through Vet's Day. http://sd.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/i/keep-calm-and-cover-your-butt.png

  14. Dude, the new Camaro is ridic agressive next to a 4th-gen... One's like "WTF YOU LOOKING AT?" The other's like "Huh huh...watch me make a fish face!"
  15. LOL. This is a thread about doughnuts...
  16. Looking good! Don't paint the steelies white. Anything else would be fine.
  17. Awesome, Brian! I'm a little slouchy-slouchy but nothing against your filming.
  18. Thanks, guys. I appreciate the perspective. Brian, I'll reach out to you. Haven't done anything yet but you'll be the one to get the call.
  19. For my 2007 CTS-V, all I have is a Magnaflow cat-back and a K&N Typhoon full CAI kit. Love the car, and was thinking about headers but I'm backing off that idea. A couple of LSx guys said that the factory PCM doesn't know what to do with the additional air from the K&N, and that I need a tune. If I'm not affecting speedo (stock rear gear/tire diameter) or transmission settings (stick shift), is an off-the-shelf programmer the best and cheapest way? Does anyone recommend an off-the-shelf programmer, or is it truly worth it to go to DTM? I got a quote form Brian last year so I know the HPT license and tune/dyno time, but curious if I'm not going nuts with custom parts whether a programmer should be just as good. Thank you!
  20. Trey (IV Rings) sells at MAG... Shot him a text. Sounds like the white 458 with gold wheels is there @ MAG main campus...he couldn't confirm that the Lambo is.
