  1. Using the same logic, I'd protest that the Internet has let stupidity continue to grow. Anywhere the Internet has spread, it initially shares information and grows knowledge...followed quickly by a degradation in the societies it touches.
  2. This is why I love Roadkill: Finnegan and Freiburger could be the world's biggest toolbags, but as long as they are wrenching...I can tolerate my free entertainment.
  3. He's on lunch break...has to get back to his cubicle job!!!
  4. Thanks a lot, everyone! They contacted most of the names that I provided...I appreciate all of your input.
  5. Mike, I've used John Ross Roofing in the past for multiple jobs but John retired. his son-in-law took over, but they still do awesome work for the price... (614) 876-6314

  7. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2015/12/feds-pass-low-volume-law-turn-key-fun-everyone/ Will be exciting to see how the aftermarket responds to this. CARB-certified crate motors in refurb'd older platforms...what's not to like?
  8. http://jalopnik.com/what-car-should-i-buy-next-1747063020 Anyone else think he's a self-absorbed narcissist? Is that what's needed to be successful as a blogger these days: the "look at how awesome/clever/handsome/smart-I-am" mentality? It's really annoying...
  9. Best use of Night Shades EVER. Great job and awesome photos, Kerry!
  10. I get you, brah...5-lb raptor tries to light on my head with razor sharp talons...I'm going to duck as well.

  12. I pretty much can't hear "eL Nino" without thinking of Chris Farley.
  13. RIG is still having its way with me anus. Looking at a 15-year window to possibly regain any scrap of a profit, let alone a dividend. :/
  14. MArk, I'm in commercial banking; company manages their banking relationship with my team. Randy, give me an email address sometime for them to contact you. Thanks! I appreciate everyone's interest.
  15. My guy was the wurst. :gabe:
  16. I work with a company out of Cleveland that owns and manages over 500 residential units in Columbus. Class C space, but is looking to rehab 200+ units to Class B/B+. They've had a heck of a time keeping a good property manager, and are looking for someone to assist with the rehab. Anyone that fills the needs below: - Property Manager (rental management, maintenance coordination) - possibility of making $100k - Maintenance Manager - General Contractor for rehabbing properties I'd like to avoid someone like Jason Ebright where you've done some handyman/contractor work for one-off clients...definitely looking for someone who has experience managing multiple properties/tenants. Let me know if that's you, or who you know. Thank you!
  17. I'm bringing this thread up, as I'm looking to treat and repaint some areas of surface rust on my '78 Lincoln. Products like Rust Doctor and Corroseal convert rust to a hardened form (magnetite or iron phosphate). Anyone with experience using these products? The Lincoln is a perfect candidate because it still has a super thick coating of "Quaker Seal" undercoating that's kept it surprisingly rust free. Just have some areas on the lower panels where rock chips have started to spread.

  19. FYI - as an NPR listener AND contributor - Obama is the wurst. Carry on.
  20. This morning's drive in, NPR was reporting the same thing Geeto mentioned - just to clarify what NPR is actually sharing with the public...
  21. I've heard a couple of holiday shipping stories in the press that make me think Amazon can't build warehouse/distribution centers fast enough that it can control. http://www.fox5ny.com/news/55473441-story
  22. $3k+ for built heads makes me :barf:...but having gone through the same "rare-head" used parts search for my friggin' 4-cyl BMW - plus the cost of machining and hardware - I agree that this path was the right one to take for not a huge price penalty. Hope she buttons up well, and drives better than you hoped!
  23. The Hellcat - by it's own nature - is crazier than the CTS-V. My manager came in to Cleveland yesterday for client meetings. I've been having so much fun in the Lincoln I didn't think anything of driving my V. Went around NE Ohio, and when I dropped him off at the airport he wondered when I got the new Cadillac. I told him it was a 2007 that I drove the piss out of, showed him 92k on the odo. He said it drove better than his new 5-series. THAT'S the CTS-V: unassuming but well-put-together (at least if it's cared for) Said it before and I'll say it again: I love my CTS-V, and look forward to a used stick-shift ATS-V or CTS-V down the road.
