  1. Could you oversize the pipe and flatten it to fit? Truck pipes, pie-cut reduction from the turbo, flatten 5" pipe to outlet...
  2. The cheapa$$ in me is happy to volunteer our Odyssey for some shennanigans.
  3. This is what I'm thinking...instead of cutting the bumper (if you're already routing pipe) why not just turndown/dump underneath the bumper?
  4. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-13/self-driving-cars-will-kill-things-you-love-and-a-few-you-hate Even with some of the assumptions and stretches of imagination this article uses, it’s the most complete thought–process in a single article I’ve seen into what self driving cars will do for society. Mark my words: domination of self driving cars will not necessarily come from perfecting the technology; it will be legislated, right-of-way laws and insurance mandates that will pull society away from cars. If we ever get to a point where “Autonomous Cars Only” road lanes exist through major thoroughfares (think rush-hour traffic in major cities)...that’ll be a tough one to overcome for those of us who actually enjoy driving. Classic cars will never die if we can “hot rod” modern technology into older chassis. The thought that I could be chauffeured around in my ‘78 Continental autonomously is an interesting idea. Time will tell...
  5. I used to lurk on the “other” CC&C FB page to see what they were up to. Truthfully haven’t even paid attention to them over the last couple of years. I would still be open to joining them for ONE cars and coffee group in Columbus but they are the barrier to that happening, not me.
  6. I appreciate the thoughts, Kerry. Many share your feelings - Champps was just really wierd to work with and I never got traction on once-a-month meetings, but people DO want to meet in the winter. My contact at Casto said they'd float the idea of giving us some space once they open next month (too late for this winter) but they also open at 11am so not sure what that will do to help. This winter, in my mind, is done.
  7. Champps has been a good partner in the past, but they soured once the weather got cold; the manager I spoke with was fine with once-a-month during the winter months as he had to staff for our group. It definitely was more of a process than previous years as Cup O'Joe was so easy for an inside meeting spot.
  8. Since CR was so instrumental in helping get my CC&C group set up at Lennox years ago, I appreciate the group's opinions. Coffee: With the sudden departure of Cup O'Joe in order to put in a new healthy-eating concept, I've been in touch with Casto about coffee offerings for 2018. While Casto remains favorable with us staying for the forseeable future, there's not a good coffee provider, aside from Starbucks in Barnes & Noble...though most people bring their own beverages anyway. I cannot invite coffee trucks/vendors as Casto doesn't want to risk a lessee getting upset at bringing in outside vendors to Lennox Town Center. Is anyone upset that there's not a convenient coffee provider for Saturday mornings? I'll continue working on ideas but wanted to gauge peoples' opinions. Cruises: : I've reached out to Kenny @ Dayton C&C about doing a once-a-month cruise from C'Bus to their gathering, for something different and a chance to enjoy their group as well. (Haven't even seen what they are doing for 2018, or the other CC&C group at Byers...I've really not been active in social media thanks to kids- and work-schedules.) I'd also like to do some early-morning departures for cruises in the Hocking Hills, 555, rt.250 east from Cambridge...open to suggestions as well. If anyone wants to step up and help organize a lot of these extra-curricular activities on behalf of CC&C - as well as share some other ideas - I'd welcome the input!
  9. I don't know why anyone would own a lightly-modded CTS-V and a $1xxx pickup truck. That doesn't sound like cheap fun, that does everything a suburban homeowner would want.
  10. Got it, Brian. If some of the guys on City Council had their way, they'd shut off rentals in UA altogether.
  11. Have you guys been outside recently? I'm ready for winter to be over. Fucking cold, man.
  12. 2018 Lincoln Navigator = 207.4" 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V = 230.3" Nearly two feet longer. Just remember who the king of the road still is, in your puny little Sissy-Utility-Vehicle.

  14. https://jalopnik.com/elon-musk-actually-shot-a-tesla-roadster-into-space-1822776401 Mad props to Space X for doing what they've done. What a fascinating, public display of space access. It was impressive to watch the solid rocket boosters LAND UPRIGHT ON PADS.
  15. Is that still 3.5L Raptor EcoBoost-powered? I do love the new Navigator...
  16. BL: Say, "Bit" S: Bit BL: Now say, "Coin" S: Coin BL: Now...say, "Bitcoin" S: *sniff*...BITCORN
  17. Everyone complains about the Chevy SS's demise. Aside from the stick, buy a CTS-V or a G8, people! Great pickup you guys!
  18. I read a Jalopnik article, who said the power is not that impressive. Seems to be a lot of complicated engineering for middling performance. Man, I don't envy the OEMs, with what they're expected to do to make a product customers will buy (or in Infiniti's case, LEASE).
  19. After looking at car-part.com for used headunits, I bought new Polk 6.5”s from Shaun (Cstmg8) figuring I’d want to swap out new speakers anyway. Thankfully, it WAS just that. I didn’t realize the door speakers on Silverados/Tahoe’s/Suburbans go out with noticeable frequency.
  20. I was anti-everything BEFORE it was cool.
  21. More like the rest of society is racist agains Orcs, but Will has a legit conflict with the hatred for his partner...yes, he's an asshole, but in a "hooker with a heart of gold" kind of way. He doesn't like Jakoby but he's still got some respect and honor for his role (my take). Everything touching on racism was an interesting sub-plot...you get a sprinkling of why Orcs are hated, yet plays on other existing stereotypes. Made the storyline a little more interesting.
  22. https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/d/2006-mini-cooper-orange/6468536717.html See...everything like this that's "$1500" seems like a scam to me. 1 pic, minimal details? Hmmm
