we started out with the Graco brand called snug ride you buy two bases and then you can transfer the seat back and forth between cars the info that came with the infant seat says you can get get the larger seat that snaps into the same base might want to check into it....
oh and cheap and car seat should never be used together in the same sentence what the fuck is wrong with you?
I won't tell you not to port those heads but you can pick up a nice used set of aluminum heads for around the same cash and make more power just a heads up....
the govenor or the modulator?
the modulator is external and you can change it without getting wet the govenor is inside the transmission under the valve body
check it with a real oil pressure guage spec on a small block chevy at hot idel is only 10 or 15 psi does it rise with rpm?
I'm am also more than willing to check it out for you
and I can take a look at the toyota as well
354-0635 ask for Dave
sometimes he speaks the truth
the block should ALWAYS be checked however if there is not signifigant cylinder wear only a hone and not a bore would be the cheaper way to go
if it was me and it just had a bad cam lobe I'd replace the cam and lifters and maybe the timing set and keep driving it.
whatever you decide to do a CLEAN work area is the key to success one spec of dirt on a bearing and its toast
good luck with your project
put fuel injected small block in the buick w/ th-400 still not finished wiring it up yet
replaced engine in sunbird when the block cracked
bought a contour from derek and traded it for the sunbird
blew up a turbo dodge twice and sold it for scrap
put a gt-40 explorer motor in a t-bird (under the stock hood ) and sold it
picked up a v-8 ranger project
think thats it
this year the ranger gets efi so I can use it to go back and forth to work in
the buick will run this year ( I promise)
and if I get all that done the sunbird is due for a new tranny
specifically a harness for an efi 5.0/5.8 from a 87-91 full size truck and a distributor with the module mounted to the side the stuff doesn't need to be pretty but I'd prefer complete and in good working order....
Thanks

the base about as big as a 50 cent piece?
not to many cars on the road that still use those you might advertise them in hemmings motor news if you want to move them fast
you can check for said vacum leak by lightly misting some solevent around the area you think the leak is in if the idle changes you do indeed have a leak
good luck
its not the timing belt procedure that bothered either one of us.
I do not own the tool required to properly perform the requested service and I could not find anyone to borrow it from so instead of winging it and maybe breaking something we decided to pass on the job...
I thought that was the responsible thing to do.
call eastland firestone ask for john coleman (he's the manager) he'll take care of it.
864-3350

I can take a look at it. you may only need the hydrualic portoin of the clutch serviced and not the actual friction material
354-0635 Dave
256-4040 Derek
thanks
I got a couple you could come and take a look at to borrow
mossberg heavy barrel target rifle with redot olympic site (its a great squirell gun)
pile of shotguns too they tend to work a little better and have less of a chance of richocheting through your neighbors house
look you either want it or you don't I don't care if nobody buys it I'll build a mustang or a truck in the spring with the drivetrain.
I'll part the car into 3 pieces
motor-600
tranny-150
rest of car-100
if a couple of you want to chip in and buy the whole car still put together for 750 and part it out yourselves thats fine too but my time is limited and if I have to part it out your going to pay for it.
I'm not asking a ridiculous price the motor from jegs with p-heads and no intakes is 1400 bucks the intake is another 500 the transmission would easily sell used from a junkyard for 300 bucks or so and just the center pumpkin in the rear end with trac loc goes on ebay for 350-500 depending on the gear ratio
so for 750 dollars you get well over 2k worth of shit I don't think I'm asking too much here
750 for engine trans and harness you can hear it run before you drive
Scott you can the have the rest of the car for 100 bucks thats what it cost me to buy it....
