  2. your stuck weld nuts on the ends of them and turn them out with a big wrench
  3. Damn I woulda rocked that for a beater it went cheap too
  4. call cleveland u-pick-it they had a stang or two when we were up there
  5. the 700r4 trans from a 2wd 2.8 powered s-10 or blazer will work as well...
  6. I thought about the northstar today when I was crusing the junkyard becuase they had a couple. I really like that blower though and theres tons of aftermarket support for the 3800 already
  7. I need a 4L60 or 4L60E from a 93 to 02 f-body with the 3.4L or 3.8L V-6 or a 700r4 from a 82-92 f-body with a 2.8 or a 3.1 V-6 good working condition prefered but I'l take a rebuildable core if you have it. Thanks [ 12. February 2005, 02:54 AM: Message edited by: O.G. ]
  8. becuase you can't learn how to swing a hammer in school. you have to learn how to do it on the job. its hard work but it can be rewarding if you get into historical renovation and stuff, new guys get started picking up trash and digging holes, you HAVE to work your way up in a craft type job theres no way around it
  9. I'm putting this motor in a 1971 a-body it'll fit the way it is. the bellhousing is specific to the 3800 I spent about 6 hours today at the salvage yard with a hollander book and a tape measure. I need a t-5 or a 4l60e from a 3.4 or 3.8 powered f-body. it'll be fun to try and if it doesn't work out I can always stuff another big block in it. smile.gif
  10. don't shit talk a hi-point unless you own one I put almost 2000 rounds through my 45 before I cleaned it and it never jammed misfired or anything else. your weapon can never be too clean I don't care how much you paid for it its going to fuck up if it stays dirty for a long time. if you carry it every day it should at the very least be wiped down with oil at night and cleaned after everytime you shoot it. this will promote greater accuracy. A Hi-Point is a very good weapon. I wouldn't hesitate to trust my life to my .45
  11. Thought I'd offer the stuff here first before it goes on ebay. I have carbs cams manifolds heads cranks rods pistons bearings gaskets fuel pumps water pumps brackets pulleys tons of stuff. if you have a big or small block buick engine and need a part I probably have it. I'm going to let everything go for next to nothing I just want it to go to a good home. hit me here or with a pm everything I have will be on ebay in a couple weeks so I can clean out the garage. thanks
  12. Turn that around why should I have to stand outside in the snow or rain to smoke just becuase you don't. Last time I checked smoking was legal if your over 18. or maybe we should ban the internal combustion engine becuase it pollutes the air, you'd be all over that right becuase all of you non smokers with your cats cut off and emission systems removed are all about breathing clean air right...
  13. if you can find a stang in the junkyard you might be able to get the harness out of the colum, its easier to replace the whole colum though. I would do what alex said and ohm out the wiper motor first its prolly shot.
  14. I eat burger king you wanna fight bitch... smile.gif
  15. who's the unlucky woman? Congrats smile.gif
  16. I hope it passes. I'm not really affected by it much, but if I want to have a cigarette I don't think I should be singled out. Taking a shower can kill you too if you slip and fall should we ban that too?
  17. get a hi-point brand new lifetime warrany 9mm for around 100 bucks and the ammo is cheap too. they have them at vances and buckeye outdoors
  18. well see the problem is is that I have a buick motor now well like 4 of them 455's and 430's and the buick 3.8T is based directly off of the bigblock. the stock oiling systems are weak. So I'm going to give a 3800 L67 a whirl and see how fast the blower motor can go in a car with the drive wheels in the right place. I'm not knocking the grand national motor, but it stopped production in 89 and I can still buy fresh low mile 3800's all day for cheap.
  19. way to add nothing to this thread... reusing stock springs with a hot cam is a good way to wipe it in about 3 passes when the lifters start bouncing up and down on the cam lobes at 5k rpm from the extra strain of the larger cam. so if your the dirt cheap motherfucker you claim to be the proper route here is to change the springs. that is unless you like purchasing and reinstalling your cam once a week or so. fucking retard.

  22. my sister called me tonight and said that while she was driving the headlights would randomly turn on and off by themselves. I'm thinking its the headlight switch or the relay. I thought I would check and see if anybody has had this same problem before I tear into it in the morning. Thanks
  23. I can make it run right. pm me and set something up and I'll come take a look at it. theres no set turns for the screws you just have to set the iel and then paly with the mixture and readjust the idel a couple times. I'll teach you how to do it so you can do it yourself its going to need adjusted periodically anyway to keep it tip top
