  1. The car runs on methanol. Hence, no intercooler needed.
  2. Its qualifying at a pro race. The R/Ts don't matter.
  3. You don't just multiply hp ratings on pumps when you stack them. There's more math to it than that.

  9. I'm not sure if anyone here has access to corner weight scales but I know Jim Grashell has a set. He normally charges about $50 to weigh a car and give you a sheet listing all the corner weights/balance percentages. I was thinking of taking my car up there, while its still in race trim, to get weighed. I know he could use a little business right now so I was thinking maybe I could round up about 10 cars and get the rate reduced by maybe about $10 to get a bunch of cars weighed. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM or post here and maybe I'll call him and see if he would be willing to do a group of cars on a Saturday.
  10. Is that the one that ran the 9s? If so, the little footage of it I saw it looked to be completely gutted out. It just doesn't seem to me that he clutch should hold if the car is indeed that crazy heavy. Hopefully it works as I assume there are little options for that particular application.
  11. How much does the car weigh with driver? 3800-4000lbs? Did you put an RPS Twin Carbon in the car? I'm just curious whether they truely think that thing will cut it with a car that heavy making the power that it does? Custom Tilton?

  19. Any chance anyone got my 10.91 @ 139 pass? It was right before 4:00.
  20. I'm not sure what happened yet. I lost some tranny fluid and there was some puddling on the top of the case. The tranny shifts fine though and makes no noises. My immediate reaction is that I tore a tranny seal where the passenger side axle goes into the tranny and it starting spitting out fluid. I don't think it was anything major. Usually when DSM trannys fail, it is quite the audible, devastating effect with much carnage
  21. First off, I'd like to thank all the people from CR who put the event together and especially the people who worked the staging lanes and tree. My best pass was 10.91 at 139.0MPH. This was on my last pass where I bogged my launch badly but it still ended up being my best ET. I had many problems all day (including a punctured slick) but we managed through it. By the time we got the tire fixed and delt with a few other issues, I didn't have much time to actually start tuning the car. I was picking up 2-3MPH each pass as I was getting things dialed in. I ran out of time right at the end but I was really happy with the 139MPH trap considering the car has 4-5PSI more boost left in it. There's tons of ET left once I get some actual seat time. This was probably twice as much seat time as I've had in the car the past 2 years. It's been a frustrating 2 years of troubleshooting but maybe now I can finally concentrate on driving the car.
