  1. It was my understanding that there is no NEOfest this year. There is Import Face Off at NTR on Aug 26th which is somewhat similar in nature.
  2. It was a generalization on my part in regards to the comments posted by most in this thread. I'm sure there are some exceptions such as yourself
  3. Is everyone on this board with a 4 banger a retard?
  4. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/more/06/25/wrestler.dead.ap/index.html?cnn=yes
  5. I'll be up there all weekend. Staying at the Econolodge.
  6. Jim's a great guy. He did my current 6 point in the race car as well as the lexan. His work is very high quality and he also has got things done for me very quickly whenever I asked for it.
  7. Depending on the year you have, some of the 3-4 gearsets are weker than others. Run a good gear fluid. Don't use some super thin synthetic oil that lets you shift super fast but can't withstand any real heat.
  8. Get the puck disc out of it and it may last a long time.
  9. Auto Assets on Powell Rd usually has some Sparco seats out on display. I think Auto Exotica had Recaro or Corbeau ones out last time I was there(if you can stomach going there).
  10. Definitely use your own car, you won't regret it. I've done 3 weekend schools that were Porsche club schools. I used my wife's EVO for all of them and had a blast. You won't be going fast enough your first time out to break anything suspension wise so I wouldn't think twice about it. It is hardest on the tires. You will wear them down towards the end once you figure out what you're doing. It isn't even that bad on the brakes because they're going to make you break pretty early and you won't be heating them up too bad.
  11. We had similar traction problems at our NRP rental on Monday. The track definitely wasn't up to normal NRP standards. By about half way through, there was nothing left in terms of traction. Congrats to all on the times
  12. Thanks to everyone that attended this. The weather was great and we had a blast. Anthony, Construction is really heavy there still and they made us do a few weird things setup wise. PM me for details concerning your rental.

    Calling myself out.

Thank God I banned you from ColDSM a year or two ago.
  14. Two people that I would recommend for grade A tuning would be Dan S at http://www.racetuned.com (local) or Tym Switzer at switzerperformanceinnovation.com (west of Cleveland). Send me a PM if you want to know anything.
  15. Ted Ginn- There is a big difference between running a sprint in a combine vs how fast you are in full pads. Some things can not necessarily be measured. The Jerry Rice example is a perfect illustration.
  16. This thread cracks me up. At least I now know that ColDSM isn't the only group of lame asses when it comes to actually racing at the track.
  17. Anthony, I feel your pain. The days of $30 rentals are over in my opinion. It's just generally too nerve racking to try to get that many people sign up. People just need to realize that even $50 is beyond reasonable for the amount of passes you get (not to mention how laid back everything is compared to a public event).
  18. Track rental is officially full. We may offer up alternate positions to anyone interested when we get a little closer to the date.
