  1. Is there any part of any of my posts where I called it a "Garrett" turbo? BTW..Companies like Precision make turbos for shops all the time without advertising them as off the shelf, available products from them directly.
  2. Buschur's Mustang dyno reads very low to what almost anyone would be used to seeing. Those hp numbers would be close to 900 on an AWD dynojet.
  3. An NTK sensor costs $200-$225 depending on where you get it from. I am on my 4th Bosch sensor on a trailored car that hardly sees any action in the big picture of sensor longevity. The placement of the sensor has much to do with how long it will last (particularly on a turbocharged car).
  4. The NTK sensors are fairly indestructable compared to the crappy Bosch sensors. They will withstand much more heat and leaded gas.
  5. That is why I asked whether it was a 2.0l or a 2.3l. A 2.0l DSM isn't going to ever make 500whp on a 35r at only 20PSI.
  6. Is this a 2.0 or the 2.3l? I find it hard to believe that he made that number at only 20PSI.
  7. I have no problem with electric water pumps. (I have one on my own car). What I had a problem with was the shady ass rubber hoses with $.99 hose clamps on it. I would have just assumed an 8 second car would have a little more attention to detail on it?
  8. The AEM ( and some others) have the ability to do both wide and narrow band output. So you can use the narrowband 0-1v signal to the factory ECU in place of the stock sensor. In my experience though, I don't think the sensors last long at all when you mount them in a stock O2 housing on a turbocharged car. They just get too hot. I would place the sensor further down the downpipe and keep the stock shit setup as is only using the wideband for its original intent.
  9. 40PSI at 5000rpm sure as hell isn't laggy when you're shifting at 9k. The car is basically a rebuild of their shop car that has went 9.4x so calling it a dynoqueen is a bit premature.
  10. From this thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17105&page=1&pp=25&highlight=neofest I see this: I am not sure if this is the same STI that people are referring to. I am fairly certain the other one (John Shrek?) has gone 130mph but I don't think 135mph?
  11. The Colts/Chargers game is an AFC game. AFC games are on CBS. NFC games are on FOX. Fox had the doubleheader this week so therefore, no 1:00 game on CBS. If anything, people should complain to FOX local about not showing the Steelers/Vikings game instead of the SF/Jaguars. That would have at least hit a little closer to home.
  12. Indy hung 45 points on them and the game was in Cinci. What do you think is going to happen if and when they play in the dome?
  13. It would have been a lot easier (and probably faster) if he would have just put a 4G63 in it like all of the other Conquest conversions.
  14. When the AMS EVO went 9.61 at 152, the car weighed 3150 with the driver.
  15. I just wanted to point that out since the original poster was drawing comparison to the AMS EVO which has gone 9.41 @ 156 without spray.
  16. Canadian company. We used to sell them years ago. Nice speakers for the money and better than 95% of the mass market crap in this thread. If you are looking in that price range, better things exist.
  17. Dear Chad, The next time I see you, I will kick you in the nuts for asking about Bose. Your pal, Mike C
  18. If we want to get technical and really stick to NORTHEAST Ohio (Youngstown), there truely is nothing redneck about that town. It's more like something out of hybridized gang/mafia movie
