  1. That's an awesome pic. Congrats dude.
  2. Torco 118NOS is a bit more expensive than C16. The last drum of Torco I bought was $580 (about 2 months ago from D'amico). You can usually get C16 in the $450 range.
  3. D'Amico isn't a VP dealer. He just deals Torco.
  4. Is John Sheppard related to John Shepherd?
  5. BTW...These are the special "HOT POTATO" seats!!!
  6. If anyone has kids who like the Wiggles, we have center section floor seats for tomorrow night's show here in Columbus. My wife had a death in her family and just had to leave town with the baby so we can't go at the last minute. There's 3 tickets and we paid close to $150 for these damn things. I'll let them go cheap to anyone who can use them and is willing to just give us something reasonable for them. Thanks,
  7. It depends on what you consider "race fuel". You can by Cam2 at the Hamilton Rd Citgo or the Citgo at Summit and 11th. You can also buy better VP shit at the Hamilton Rd Citgo.
  8. A couple questions: 1.) Will both lanes be open? 2.) What degree of track prep will there be? Whole way? 1/8th mile? 330'? 3.) What is the actual time of the rental?
  9. Sorry if this is posted somewhere else but I didn't see it. Was anyone at NTR last night. I heard that there was a fast Suburu there that went up in flames possibly due to a nitrous backfire? Does anyone know who's car it was or what happened?
  10. Slowmotion has an AWD (or 2WD) Dynapack which is a load bearing dyno.
  11. It is my opinion, after reading all of this nonsense, that the best thing for all parties to do is to establish a deadline for this race to happen that is mutually agreed upon by both parties. It seems ridiculous to me for people to slander a shop just because they have a car when no real, firm deadline was ever established. Just because 1 of the 2 cars is currently up and going doesn't seem like a good reason to pick on the other car if something wasn't agreed upon. Just pick a race date. If then, the car still isn't ready, then it seems more reasonable to me to flame away. Otherwise.........
  12. I think that was "medium low" boost Seriously, if somebody would just donate $500 to the poor kid to fix his ignition problem, the car would probably go 5 MPH faster. It was impressive.
  13. It does not specify a specific day. They sent me an Excel sheet that they use to figure out the cost. If anyone wants it, PM me and I'll email it to them.
  14. The hourly rate is variable and based on how many cars you are bringing. It increases after 30 cars to $20 additional/hr.
  15. Our current track rental costs $1415. That is for 5 hours, both lanes, VHT prepped to the 330' mark, 30 car max, no additional track staff (meaning, we have to run the tree). Norwalk's rates are almost double what they were last year. They have a calendar on the website of which you can select an open date. Basically, it will always have to be a weekday because weekends are always prebooked. They are also quite helpful over the phone and very accessable.
  16. If there's 30 cars signed up before monday, then I mean NO
  17. It depends on how many cars we have by then. We are capping it at 30 so if we have that many beforehand, then the answer would be no. If you want to be ensured a spot, you should pay now. However, if we are short, then you would be able to show up the day of and pay us in person.
  18. Update. After careful considering, we have decided to NOT cancel the event. We are still short by about 9 cars but we will do whatever necessary to make the event happen. We are hopeful that more people will continue to sign up this week and get us to the target number. A big thanks to the racers and spectators whom we have spoken to about donating extra money. It is much appreciated. Let us know if you have any questions.
  19. I only race cars. Sorry.
