  4. Posted: Sat May 06, 2006 11:11 pm Post subject: Norwalk Track Rental May 22nd -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some various members from ColumbusDSM have rented Norwalk on Monday May 22nd from 12-5. Both lanes will be open with full VHT prep to the 330' mark. We will be taking around 30 cars at $50/car. This may seem a tad high compared to years past but if anyone has researched this year, Norwalk has SIGNIFICANTLY raised their track rental prices for the year. This will be a very relaxed atmosphere to dial in your car and the quantity of runs you would get will obviously be unlimited. We need firm commitments by Sunday May 14th. At this point, we only have 10 paid participants. We will make the decision on the 14th whether we will cancel the event or not but we aren't going to count people as "in" unless they are paid. If we cancel on the 14th, obviously everyone will receive a refund immediately. Entries can be Paypal'd to columbusdsm@hotmail.com A current list of paid participants can always be seen in the first post of this thread: http://www.columbusdsm.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12169 Let me know any questions that you may have. Thanks, Mike C ColumbusDSM
  5. It sounds like an ignition miss. I hope he's running some really good fuel. 13.0+ A/F ratios in 4th gear aren't going to be liked by his engine for too long.

    Chassis Shop's

All of my experiences with Grashel have been very favorable.
  7. This stipulation may only be in the "sport compact" rulebook and may not effect people like you. I'm really not sure though. I spoke with Jim Grashel about it and he did not think this rule applies to all models. What will get weird is when do they actually "enforce" it? Will it only be an issue at a "sport compact" race or are they going to enforce it by specific model on a Friday night? How stupid
  8. For those that don't know, the NHRA changed their rules to now mandate a full 10 point cage, window net, firesuit/gloves/collar ETC at 135MPH. The old rule used to be at 9.99 or quicker but now it is 9.99 OR 135MPH. I am just wondering what anyone's experience was at NTR this weekend, either in tech or after a pass, if they were on the cusp of the trap number? I don't know how many 135MPH "street" cars are going to want to have a full 10 point cage in their car Just another reason that I probably will never run my car at NTR anymore.
  9. A number around 18-20% is definitely more correct. I just put down 575whp on Buschur's dyno last week and I know my car isn't making much over 700whp on a Dynojet or Dynapack.
  10. What makes you think I'm yelling? Its just the internets.
  11. That link is information about how the car was ran last year. It now has a 2.0l in it. It is plastered all over EVOm.net and the other various sites. I talk to these people on an almost daily basis and know what's in the damn car. Please be quiet now.
  12. The "tank" car is their(AMS) shop car.
  13. The AMS shop car with a GT42 runs a 2.0l. The AMS car that they made the 903 corrected is a customer car with a 2.3l and GT42R. The Buschur car is a 2.0l with a GT45R
  14. If you respected him then you would at least call him BuSchur.
  15. And that is exactly the poster's point.
  16. Now you're going backwards
  17. It won't be shifted at 9200RPM.
  18. Lag or no lag, that car will go mid 9s at 150+ in that configuration. It certainly will get a shot to help it along.
  19. I'm certainly not arguing with you and it seems to me now as we are talking about two different products here. I am referring to the traditional UEGO controller (part # 30-2301). I think you are talking about the integral gauge/probe unit that has serial out (part # 30-4100). I have had an EMS and UEGO in my car for 3 years now and know how it operates. Sorry that we weren't on the same page product wise but there was no need to get all wound up about it
  20. You can't datalog with an AEM UEGO unless you have an EMS.
  21. You can spell out the verbage any way you like. Like I said, just because Precision doesn't tell you (the end customer) something does not mean they don't offer it to a shop. The example the other poster makes about the HKS SPL51 is a perfect example. Its just nomenclature crap but all of the parts are the same. People can call things whatever they like but I see your point. You can change a compressor wheel on a GT40r and still call it a 40r or something different. You obviously can't order an "off the shelf" turbo from Garrett this way (which I think is your point).
