-
why shovel though? Seriously? I mean I never have to walk in it, and my car will drive through this just fine, so why bother?
-

Been snowing pretty solid for at least an hour here in Bexley. Definitely got an inch or so. Hope it keeps going strong all day/night long...

haha, give me some sort of guidelines as to what kind of car and money we're talking about and I'll browse for you while I do for myself. I've bought and sold over 100 cars in the past 5 years, so I know how to find some good deals.
-
Maybe see if your parents will loan you another $2k or so and buy another mustang gt, but 99+? I bought my 2000 gt back in March w/ 72k on it for $4200. Black leather, 5spd, couple mods. You should be able to find something similar. Even if parents can't help you out a $2k loan should be dirt cheap.
-
You can buy a lot of decent cars for $2k, I know I have. Hell I bought a 2000 contour w/ 93k on it for $1200 like 5 months ago. Auto/loaded, etc, We've put almost 10k trouble free miles on it so far. But I completely understand when something is worth more to you than the actual dollar amount, totally sucks.
-
Ok, no offense because I feel for you, but $2250 for a 16 year old car w/ 200k miles on it pretty good in my opinion. I highly doubt you would've been able to sell the car for that or much more, but I understand that is besides the point and it had a greater value to you personally. This is why you go after them for damages, get another grand or two for inconvience/etc whatever other bs reasons you can dig up. And here's EXACTLY why I think $2250 is more than fair.....http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75598 That car is decently clean, has nice wheels/couple mods, and probably won't pull $3k. I've seen a COUPLE pictures of your car, but as of recent don't think it was nearly as clean as this. Just my .02 and good luck with it all.

I bought my 2003 Focus ZX5 from the original owner 2 months ago for $4k. It's loaded and had only 62k miles on it. Sure its a focus, but its a fine daily and pretty nice for $4k. Deals can be had, I've seen a few zx3 focus for sale for like $2500 with around 80-110k miles. Just a suggestion.

Found this on another forum...pretty funny. There's a girl who broke up with a guy and she told him she wanted to “still be friends.” He said, “No thanks.” She wondered why he couldn’t fall back to being just friends after they had a romantic relationship. In comes the “McDonalds Analogy” to try and explain it in a simple way that would help all women understand this tough question. Imagine if you went to McDonalds a lot and ordered a Big Mac Combo meal. A Big Mac, Large Fries and a Coke. You really like this meal. One day, you pull up to the drive through and order the Big Mac Combo meal and the girl tells you, “I’m sorry – you can have the Big Mac and the Coke, but you can’t get fries with that anymore.” You think about this for a moment, and sure – the Big Mac is the centerpiece of the meal, but McDonalds has some really good fries and you like their fries with your meal. So you say, “I’ve been able to get fries with that before, why can’t I have fries with my Big Mac combo anymore?” The girls says, “Well, I just think it is better if you only have the Big Mac and the Coke from here on out.” At this point, a lot of guys are going to go to Wendy’s or BK and see if they can get fries with their combo at that drivethrough window. But there are some guys who REALLY like McDonalds Big Macs and they might think, “If I keep coming here and ordering the Big Mac and Coke, maybe she’ll change her mind and give me some fries with that later.” So they will keep on getting the combo without the fries until the deal breaker happens: One day that guy is going to order the Big Mac and Coke and then he’s going to pull up a little bit to pay, and someone else is going to pull up to the drive through speaker and order the “Big Mac Combo” and he is going to hear the girl say, “Would you like fries with that?” That’s why guys don’t like to be friends with a girl who breaks up with them.

Sweet, I'll have to check it out, I'm assuming Lowes will carry it? And maybe OT but since you seem to know a thing or two about concrete, is there anyway to reverse the deterioration? Like stop it from getting worse?
-
Is that safe for concrete? I put something down, i think rock salt 2 winters ago when I first bought the house and it TORE up my front porch, like to where it still deteriorates when I sweep it etc. So I have used anything since. But earlier this year I had a new front walk put in, poured concrete and I DO NOT want to mess it up, but would like something to get the ice up... Do you have experience with it or anything?
-
the cartridge as in the ink cartridge or is there something seperate? im not sure what a print head is...
-
Yeah! And then if/when it gets totaled you'll get squat for it since it'll only be a V6, and even that old of a V8 car ain't worth jack to insurance.
-
LOL, I win. This afternoon I heard a noise like a snowblower like really close to my house, so I went to the front living room and my neighbor has his industrial looking snow blower thing(it had a spinning brush thing on the front) and was doing my entire driveway (65ft x 12ft) and did the front sidewalks in front of my house, the neighbor to his otherside sidewalk, and then did his driveway. I was like badass, guess its nice being friends with your neighbor. But I generally don't shovel the ENTIRE driveway. Just 2 'stripes' where my tires go, so it doesn't freeze. I park in my attached garage that I can just walk into from my house so I don't have to ever walk in the snow, and my car doesn't get covered, so I don't care.

When my mom lost her wedding ring the insurance company wouldn't take a claim before she made a police report...even though she lost it...maybe that's why?
