  1. LOL. Jeeps blow for towing in our experience. My dad tried to tow his boat (97 Malibu Sunsetter LX) to Alum Creek from Bexley in my sisters 2000 Jeep GC - 4x4/v8/loaded/etc - and it was sagging so bad in the rear and definitely wasn't up to the task. He's had Suburban's ever since I can remember, starting in like 86, he took like 4 years off when he bought a Ford econoline conversion van from like 98-2002, and since then he's had a 2004 and now has a 2009. It fits a 4x8 sheet of drywall in the back w/ the seats removed and literally will tow almost anything, I think like 12,000lbs. I would leave a jeep for a beach cruiser/mud slinger, and not count on it doing any major towing.
  2. ^^^To echo what Mark said, all I really want it is for in the mornings when I have to take my two young kids to daycare is to warm the car up. I can see it 5ft out my living room window on my driveway, and I currently run outside and warm it up if its super cold, so this would make it easier on me. Mark, I pmed ya!
  3. Sweet! Any reason why the one you posted the link for won't work on the Focus?
  4. Hey Mark, since you already have knowledge of the install with the ford PATS system, wanna do it again? cash under the table? lol
  5. Hey, We go there as well. We see Dr. Brown regularly but have been seen by just about everyone there, nothing bad to say.
  6. Its because the motorcycle financing is usually via a credit card, therefore its unsecured financing and they do not require insurance.

  10. pretty crazy that a piece of plastic is better than an actual window, huh?
  11. any idea if those are usually replaceable separate from the entire thing? I'll go look around and see if i can find anything on it
  12. i had good luck with those at my old apartment, i used the duck brand on 3 sliding glass doors, made a huge difference.
  13. i called the cops last night of a suspicious car outside my neighbors house for liek 20minutes, someone in the drivers seat with either a really bright cell phone or a laptop (blue glow on their face) and literally while I was on the phone w/ the police (in my front window) they took off. kinda pissed at myself for possibly tipping them off, but the cops asked for a descriptions of the car.
  14. and paint M&M's on the side!!!
  15. why not like an a6 or a8? the a6 come w/ 2.7tt and some in manuals....that's a sporty big body sedan. a8 is even bigger... ever seen the movie Ronan, the audi handles everything, lol. i love that movie.

    Love and Marriage

I don't know if I believe in marriage, but that may be because I'm not sure I've ever been in love, and obviously one comes after the other. I agree with black00ws6 "Marriage is easy if you have found the perfect match." I've had many relationships and a few serious ones, but looking back, I'm not sure if I was ever 'in love'. Now I love my daughter no doubt, I miss her more than anyone/thing when she's with her mother on my off days, and I would do/give anything I could for her, that's the only real 'love' i know of.
  18. bmw ftw, my gramps has the 750il or li or whatever I dunno, but its the big boy, he got it a few years ago and went from an s500 to it and likes it plenty. I've ridden in it a bunch and driven it a few times, its all gravy.
  19. Ok I reset both the openers and possibly the key pad. They all work EVERY TIME when I hold them close (1-3ft) to the actual motor unit of the garage door, but much past that they are iffy, almost like they dont have the range anymore? I used to be able to open my garage door while driving down the street (maybe 4 houses away) so that when I pulled in my driveway I didn't even have to stop to park in the garage. Now I can't even open it unless standing in the garage. Any ideas?
  20. oMG i agree with paul. DO NOT watch your gas gauge, they are never accurate. CALCULATE your miles. If you don't want to do the whole tank. Fill it up until the pump stops automatically. Dry 50+ miles, then top it off the same way again. This won't be as accurate as an entire tank of gas, but will be much more accurate than watching a 20 year old gauge.
  21. Why don't you drive it like 3 tanks through and calculate your actual mpg, then decide if it really is bad or not? I'd do that first before throwing money away.
  22. Don't you know the rule... Don't bring any if you can't bring enough for the entire class! fuck me pizza sounds good right now
