The 3.8 is in my 89 RX7, hence the weight loss and 3.90 gears. Also, it does have headers and exhaust and somewhat of a CAI, both needed for installation into the RX7.

Even with the IRS they are not the best in the twistys. Ford had to make several compromises with the suspension geometry to allow the IRS cradle to bolt to the vintage 1978 underpinnings.

Well fuck, went to fire the whore up and found the temp gauge sending unit wire and crank trigger wires had got pinched between the upper spider and valley cover :doh:

 

I'm going to see how bad the crank trigger wires are, if they are repairable, I will be out later tonight.

Looking for the 18" electric cooling fan that came on the Lincoln and maybe but not sure on the later Taurus and Sables. There are a few on Ebay but I would prefer to buy local.
