Hold on, am I understanding you correctly? Are you saying that it's okay to dig race on the street and do 160 in 8 seconds but it's wrong to do 160 from a 60-roll in 10 seconds? Aren't you going 160 either way?
Yes, but in the 8 sec. ride you have the advantage of 3" wide front tires, rear tires with only 5psi of air, and a suspension capable of only going straight :jerkit:

the way i see it someone is either a Drag Racer and thats it.
So I race but not from a dig, therefore I am not a drag racer... I'll give you that but drag racing makes up only a fraction of automobile racing. Some people have broader horizons

Are all 8 plugs black? Are they wet as well?
Dirt in the needle and seat?
This is a common problem on Holley based carbs. Also make sure the float level is set properly.

Whats going on man? Just wanted to say that the car looked nice driving around Johnstown today when I saw you. It is nice to see that there are some nice cars out there besides ford probes with fart pipes and V6 Mustangs.
Funny you say that, that was the V6 beater I was cruising around in today.
But yes, the Johnstown car scene is pretty sad these days. There are a lot of nice, even really nice muscle cars here but they are typically owned by older gents who would rather rub them down with a diaper than drive them like they were meant to be driven. Then there is the multi colored, fart can equipped, 17+ second econobox junk. Good thing Columbus is a short drive.
BTW, your WS6 sounds pretty good. What all is done?

Last weekend I said two weeks in by which in theory that would make it next weekend.... Also are we spraying or are we goin n/a. I think you out power me n/a but it might be somewhat close. I prolly make about 20-30 less rwhp then you n/a.
My bad, I was thinking this weekend for some reason.

Meaning you and your passanger? My car is n/a all the way. We can run it both ways, n/a vs. n/a and n/a vs. spray.

Not exactly what is run in Nextel Cup but similar.

Sorry to disappoint, but what you have there is a run of the mill 23 degree iron head small block chevy. Nothing wrong with that and it might make decent horsepower and torque. But it is not what is being run in Winston/Nextel Cup.
