Just to be clear, I 100% support our troops. I also beleive in DEFENSE spending. I think what we consider defense has veered off course of reality though.

Our intervention has directly caused uncountable loss of life. I'm not talking about resilient militant war casualties, I am talking about innocent civilians being in the wrong place at the wrong time being "saved" from something they didn't want saved from. In some eyes we are as bad as the people we are hunting. I am not saying we NEVER belong in war. I am saying we don't ALWAYS belong in war. Saddam needed taken down, Bin Laden needed taken down. The world however, does not want, nor need Democratized.

Everyone hates us because we cram our ideologies and beliefs down everyone else's throats. We have too soon forgotten that this country was built on freedom and diversity, not democracy. Democracy was a byproduct of our early cultural needs for structure, and that structure happened to be the best suited for our people. Humans by nature hate change that they don't themselves initiate. You can't change a way of life because someone says it's the right thing, you can only change your way of life when YOU believe it's the right thing. If people would take the time to understand anyone's way of life besides their own the whole planet would be in a much better place.

Great vid. Glad I clicked the link Awesome story, and I wish more business owners had this mentality. If/when I ever own a dealership I think I am going to attemt to structure it like a law firm. Senior partners / junior partners etc. all sharing in the profits. I think teamwork, communication, and general productivity would skyrocket causing customer satisfaction and profits to follow.

I was in college, and skipped class that morning with a friend so I could buy a new car. I bought the car that morning and heard about the attacks at the dealership. At that time (early AM) people were still unsure of the cause and thought it could be some sort of freak accident. On the way home it was all over the radio that we were under attack. We got back to the school and the only car in the lot was my buddies. They had evacuated everyone and cancelled all classes. I remember driving home and every gas station was packed, with lines out to the street. I was working at Circuit City at the time also, selling electronics. The store was empty for a week solid. It wasn't really until days after I truly realized the scope of what had happened and then knew it would change everything.

Clay, I still vote for a Terminator, but today I worked out a deal and think I am taking in a 70k mile 99 Cobra convertible. (I run a Ford dealership in Cambridge) Edit: Owned by an older couple, so it should be stock and clean. I'll throw some pics up here tomorrow if I take it in, but I should be able to sell it atleast $4,000 cheaper than the one at Keim

When I was looking, there were tons of deals on Verts. Most guys prefer the coupe. Wait till October and you should be able to find an 03-04 convertible Cobra for ~14k. Don't waste time with an 01. They are SOMEWHAT close in ET from the factory, but $1,000 worth of mods make the Terminator a whole different level of car.

This shit isn't real. A car is worth what it's worth. This is how the $4000 push pull or tow sale works: Dealer marks their cars up more. ex. 2007 Cobalt sells at auction for 5,000. Dealer lists it for sale for $10,900, a $5900 mark up. So you pay 10,900 - 4000 = 6,900. Lets assume your shitbox is worth $500. So the dealer draws 6900 + 500 = 7,400 for the car they paid 5000 for. I really hate this shady shit and am sickened every time someone falls for it. Always deal on BOTTOM LINE only.
