  1. Obama could have got a lot of things done when he first took office. He had the majority. Instead of working across the aisle, he used the majority to pass two of the biggest pieces of shit legislation ever. (Because they were still flawed even though they had good intentions) Obamacare, and Dodd Frank Then when the balance came back he wanted everyone to forget he threw those down our throats.
  2. It's not like its ridiculously expensive. Buds sells them for $1100 all day and if you look around you can find them for 8-900 used. I was just stating that people too often throw every gun made by a given manufacturer in the same boat, and it's just not the case. My regular custom II shot good, but this thing is just in a different league. As far as all the glock and M&P talk, they are just completely different animals than a 1911. They all have their place and purpose. If I were ever in a situation where I was say going into a CQC situation with multiple threats, I would take the higher mag capacity of say a glock. In a situation where a precision shot with a pistol were required (say taking down a threat that had a hostage close by) I wouldn't want anything but my 1911.
  3. I had FTF issues with my first Kimber while using the factory mag. (Gun was also brand new) Since changing mags I've never had it happen again. I have another factory mag that i use occasionally that never had that issue. So im not sure if it was a break in issue or what. I will note that with my custom TLE/RL II, I shoot far more accurately than I have with any other hand gun I've ever shot
  4. Pretty sure it's some sort of new stimulus plan from Obama
  5. I'm glad I watched it. I started to get a little worried when he appeared to be in an uncontrolled accelerating spinning tumble. Not sure how he managed to recover from that one. The comms were horrific during the entire thing. It's still hard to imagine how anything even close to this was accomplished 50 years ago.
  6. It's meters of elevation. Currently 26,650. Although for some reason it reads 26.650
  7. How in the hell was any of this possible 50 years ago....
  8. $1000 and a raptor 350 that needs rebuilt?
  9. I don't sell Chryslers,... But this applies to all: Have them figure out the best interest rate you qualify for using a regular bank. Find out how much rebate you are giving up to get 0% .... And believe me you always give up some sort of rebate to get 0%. Then figure out your total finance charges going conventional. For example a lot of people qualify for a rate like 2.99 using a standard bank, but opt for 0% because it sounds good. If this were a $25k car that had a $3000 rebate in lieu of 60 month 0% you should take the rebate, as the finance charges on 22k (25-3k rebate) is only $1700. PLUS if you decide to get rid of the car early your payoff is way lower. Sorry if that's hard to understand. I tried to respond from my phone.
  10. It's $445 million dollars. That's far from chump change considering there are thousands of instances of wasteful spending like this.
  11. People have made this into something larger than it is. PBS will still exist with out federal funding AND we will drop almost a half Billion dollars off the budget. Seems like common sense.... Will it fix the problem,... Ofcoarse not, but cutting all the bullshit like that will. If I lose my job, I'll quit spending money on movie rentals. Will that pay my mortgage, no,.. But cutting all the dumb little shit will. Our collective lack of intelligence and common sense is frightening.
  12. I believe it. I've seen a Buschur car run low 9s there in full street form. No fucks were given. Damn I need to get the Cobra back together and make it to this....

    Debate

Romney owned this debate. "90 Billion on green energy, half of those businesses already failed, many of them being owned by your largest campaign contributors..."
  14. Really the only lucrative position that I can think of that doesn't require either A. Great social skills, B. physical labor, or C. being a genius... Is something in IT. Personally I think you would be best to finish that Associates, preferably in Computer Science and you could find a decent paying IT gig where you could do most of your work at home.
  15. I'll give ya $600 and go get it myself
  16. For $500 you have to buy it. Or let me buy it for that.
  17. The amount you get knocked off the asking price is irrelevant. Forgot about that number. First figure out a couple models that you are interested in. Second look on ebay completed listings and see what they actually sell for. Third look up nada book values. (Trade in and retail) Now you can hop on Autotrader and Cars.com and search for those models and have an idea of who's pricing is in line with the market. Pick 4 or 5 of the best deals and go look at them. Be honest with the salesman that you have a few to look at, and want their best price on this one (after a test drive). At the end of the day it will be clear which one is the best value, and you go back and buy it.
  18. Might have to check this out. I like the scariest shit possible, but the wife hates it. So maybe this will be a happy medium.
  19. Every year I upgrade for $199, and sell my old phone on eBay for $250+ I imagine that is the case with most people. I agree spending a couple hundred a year (or more) would be ridiculous for the small changes they make. However if you can net money in your pocket AND have the newest phone, it's a no brainer.
  20. No wonder your old lady bangs other dudes. You seem to have trouble following even the simplest of instructions.
  21. Here is something we agree on in this thread!
  22. I agree with 99% of your posts I read. However on this subject I guess we will have to agree to diagree. You have made several references to the rest of the worlds problems being: Ignorance and lack of education Belief of propaganda Poverty Jealousy and basically being surrounded by monsters. I leave you with these thoughts: -As of 2009 (latest data I could find) the US ranks 29th in reading, writing, and mathematic competency. -Our presidents are elected by a college, not popular vote, and over half of the polical ad spending is done so by SPECIAL INTEREST. -Measuring wealth in a net sense (assets-liabilities) the US is way down on the list. Measuring on an income basis we look good. We are a cash generating (and burning) machine - We have the HIGHEST incarceration rate per capita of any country at .73% Almost one out of every 100 people is currently incarcerated. Everyone has problems, and I believe we need to clean our own home before we bitch at the neighbors for their mess.
  23. I think we are debating a fact that we are truly a lot closer to agreeance on than you realize. There are nations that WANT and need our help. As you have stated we should HELP them. We should help them from being slaughtered, not try and change their way of life. Only ensure that they have the opportunity to live the way of life that they so choose. You are talking in absolutes. I have already admitted to the fact there are instances that require intervention, I don't need them pointed out. The question was why the WORLD in general is displeased with us, and I stand by my answer. Your rebuttles only apply to small portions who's hate for us is a completely different conversation.
  24. I used to think the same thing. I have since first hand witnessed it "fix" dozens of trucks. A good friend, and customer, of mine bought a 6.0 and made it into his welding rig. After replacing injectors a couple times, he ran into someone who told him about this stuff. He tried it out and not only did it resolve the hard cold start issue he was having, he hasn't had injector issues since. He convinced me to try it on a used truck we had on the lot. We took it in, and it ran awful when cold. Techs looked at it, and said it needed injectors. Even showed me the printout that proved the injectors weren't flowing evenly. We put this additive and ran the truck. Re-tested and all injectors were in line. Truck ran great cold. We sold it to an employees family member and told them how we "fixed" it and warned it could come back. A year later, and no problems. Been using it ever since.
