  1. I had this happen recently. Unplugged all my accessories, rebooted and it powered up just fine. Turned out to be a conflict with an external drive I have. Been fine since. I swear it had/has something to do with a recent set of Microsoft Win 7 updates.
  2. I'll keep you posted on what we think. Just pulled it down for our Kindles.
  3. We just got through basically supporting Whole Foods in efforts to go Gluten free for 2 weeks. I did so after reading about the side effects of modern day wheat which is genetically different than wheat from 30-40 yrs ago. They believe that's why the Gluten allergies are becoming so prevalent today. Bread really sucked but the rest wasn't too bad. We noticed our blood sugar levels which we all monitored didn't spike nearly close to what they did on our regular meals. Interesting. Do you have the article? I'd like to read up more. The down side is that the only way to find out is to feed it to them and stand by with an Epi-pen. I'm still the same way. I was about 8 when my parents found out the hard way. I will never forget my bad reaction. Scared me as a kid and still has me scared. You're a baby still
  4. Set up a new TV and theater area for the "kids" in a section of our lower level including their Wii system and would like to get them a nice 5.1 surround system to go with it as I've since wired that area for it too. I'm open to options and am considering $200-$500 range for new speakers. I already have a very nice Onkyo receiver for the area. What do you have? Thanks!
  5. ^^ this this. I still like the sexy C6 styling.
  6. Not to bounce you around to various shops but I will share that the older fellow, Jack, at Wheel Medic is the ONLY one out of like 4 places that found not only a bad Goodyear tire, but a slight bend on one wheel of my MS3. This was a couple of years ago. He's an old timer that knows his stuff. Hope he's still there. He did what SHEIF said above. Fixed the wheel, replaced the tire and it was gone.
  7. If you are on the highway and it's vibrating does it only do it under load? Pop the car in neutral and see if it stops.
  8. Love the color Kirk. What's the plate going to read?
  9. ^^ this. Have had it happen with Goodyear Tires but never Michelins. Move wheels around and see if the vibration follows. Up front you'll notice it in the steering wheel. Back you'll feel it in the seat/cup holder.....glass of water will show it. Look at the back of your passenger headrest too. If it's bad it will vibrate.
  10. Haha! Our neighbor got one this year and has been doing our sidewalks on both sides for 1/2 our street. Could be because he wants to be able to walk his German Shepard without issues though Regardless I appreciate it.
  11. There may be a chance also that you can recover some images from the source you moved them from too. I have some software that you can run that will search and pull them off for you. Pretty easy to use. Unless you completely reformatted the drive or wrote a bunch of new stuff to that original drive you would be surprised to know that you can likely get 75% or better back. I've pulled images off phones and drives that were years old. Look into carbonite back up too. Works very well. I have over 6TB of images backed up in several ways including online through them.
  12. I don't give props like this often but he and his brother who got him into the business are good people and true artists.
  13. Ironically Lancaster was just on the news featuring their shitty pot hole ridden roads and no money to fix them. I laughed when the guy they interviewed said he could drive his Camaro it was so bad.
  14. More snow? The kids dare mother nature to "bring-it" http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/148061216/original.jpg
  15. If you need lube, you're doing it wrong....
  16. Julius Poa. Used him personally on more than a handful of cars and have sent over a dozen more than satisfied people. 937-830-2797. Quality work and has been doing this for years and years.
  17. Amazing that two people could have seen this as a good idea. And yet we allow them to have pets, raise children and vote. Intelligence tests need to be used for more things.
  18. Company owned or leased? If so OP should verify the full details. I've had a company car for nearly my entire career and none have allowed a manual tranny. Some will have restrictions on turbo cars and MPG's too. If it's not titled by the company, they likely won't care.
  19. Yes I'm biased. Panasonic VT series is the best picture out there currently. period. Check them out. Little more coin but you get the pioneer technology incorporated into their huge lineage of plasma smarts.

    Merry Christmas

Back at you. We do both Christmas Eve and day with presents. Up now grabbing more ham and fixings as it was damn good today!!
  21. Dublin has them every week. Police blotter is never limited in size. Car and home break ins. If I was a crook, I would too. Why break into a crack whore's house with an Emerson TV and a Casio camera when the other side of town has......well, you see my point.
  22. haha! close...last year Sophia lost them both! http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140674371
  23. count your guns.... 2yrs to this ago our neighbors 3 houses down came home to robbers bolting out the back door dropping the goods on the way out. Heart of burbs or the hood of Cleveland and whatever, no difference......
  24. Honestly don't recall. $25 per year service but you can lock/unlock start, etc from any distance. Any. Works great. I like it because even today I started and warmed up the car from Macy's at Tuttle Mall while parked way over at sears. while ending my day.
