  1. lol well good luck with that. I'm sure we will bump into each other eventually then.
  2. What day are you gonna be there? I'm heading down with Rob on Sunday to set up, not sure if I will be able to make it much through the week or Saturday though. Maybe a night after work.
  3. Ohio drivers are getting to that point too. It's crazy, if the roads are wet they treat it like its a monsoon. Worst yet as Chris mentioned they don't move out of the way unless your right on their ass being "that asshole". It is frustrating as all get out. Then in the winter you have to watch your rear view more than the front because the same dumbass is going way to fast sliding out of control. I damn near was rear ended this morning in the 240 because they were more focused on the coffee in there hand, than the road.
  4. I am trying to convince the wife to go as well to check out some of the new models while I am there with the car. She's the next one on the list for getting a new ride so might be able to talk her into going Saturday.
  5. They didn't touch it. Only spot of salt i saw was just before I turned onto Corporate Blvd from industrial, you could tell they were only concerned with the roundabouts down by CostCo and 33 in Dublin.
  6. North end was just a dusting, the roads were clear and dry. As I got closer to Columbus, the roads got worse. Definitely more snow the further south west I went. Industrial parkway was a sheet of ice. Very sketchy in the 240. But to Cody's point, Ohio drivers are horrendous. They don't follow simple traffic laws, nor do they maintain their vehicles. I would put a good bet on half the cars that spun out today had shit tires on them.
  7. Good vid sir. As stated before the video should be cut down a bit. Even if you break it up into sub part format it would help. That also keeps followers coming back as it offers a if you want to see what happens next kind of vibe. Gotta leave them wanting more. That would also buy you more time to get a head of your videos so as your rolling out episode 2 part one, you've finished editing part 3 and started recording part 4 and so on. A perfect break would have been just after you got the engine out. Then you close with a stay tuned next week to see what we're doing at the dyno Then start the next one with the drive over, ect. You could also start engaging the followers with things like comment below with your guess at the power it still had and so on. Keepup the good work man, repetition will get you into your groove for sure!
  8. I'll have to keep my eye out for it. Is he going to be in the vw section or is he repping his own shop/booth? Make sure you do it when I am sitting in the car :masturboy:
  9. I unfortunately have to work but I was asked to put my car in the show this year so it will be there at least lol. I am sure I will be stopping by a night or two but it would be after 6pm.
  10. http://columbusautoshow.com/ Anyone planning on attending this year?
  11. Welcome back, My cousin and I use to have an 86 bronco II. It was red, lifted with triple spoke mustang rims lol. They are pretty fun little rigs when you go hammer down with them.
  12. Here's a few more shots of it http://preview.ibb.co/dK3xLw/23517917_745583758985982_857009735474383631_n.jpg http://preview.ibb.co/j4xP0w/23519018_745583945652630_6271858720769020426_n.jpg http://image.ibb.co/iOfYtG/23376203_1599669690056201_8804376503236087606_n.jpg
  13. Getting a bit off topic; But to add to the s130/240z epicness here is one that is local to ohio.... http://image.ibb.co/fpCTC6/FB_IMG_1513185348715.jpg
  14. It is funny you bring this up. https://gearheads.org/8-best-japanese-cars-of-the-80s/9/ I was just reading this the other day lol. I know they are a bit of a problem child but the rx-7 is still one of my favorite cars from the 80's http://st.motortrend.com/uploads/sites/5/2014/10/1986-Mazda-RX-7-front-three-quarters.jpg
  15. To add to what Clay just said about the haggling, learn to say "muy caro" (too expensive). They will get a kick out of hearing you butcher it and will usually cut you a better deal right out of the gate lol.
  16. We went a couple years back for my brother-in-law's wedding. It was awesome! The resort was nice, all inclusive, and had just about everything you would need when there. I can't remember the resort name, but it was in Riviera Maya. The have all kinds of tourist places off the resort as well. As others have suggested, I would highly recommend checking out the Mayan ruins and the cenotes that are close by to there. If you want to hit up Cozumel, its a 45 min taxi ride to Cancun and a 30-40 min ferry ride to the island. We took a catamaran ride and did snorkeling when we were down there, It was a ton of fun. The resort we stayed at had a swim up bar in the main pool, and would give out snacks all day long (pastries and such). We would grab a few of the churro rolls they had and take them to the beach. If you wade out about waste deep there would be all kinds of fish that would come up and eat right out of your hand. Water was super clear too even with a storm that came through when we were there.
  17. That would be a sight to see. Thank you for the break down for me Kerry, once again I am humbled by your knowledge of the subject. This is why I am an admirer vs an engineer lol. Obviously the whole conversation is happenstance as I highly doubt anyone stateside driving a Bugatti to that extreme.
  18. I know of magnesium, but it is much softer (ferro rod). But There is also a ferro type titanium. That was what had me confused as I know it can catch fire as Kerry stated. But for some reason I was thinking brakes would get to a higher temperature than what the titanium could handle :dumb: I am curious as to what the max temp would be if you took the car to max speed then slammed the brakes to a complete stop. I would imagine they would get much hotter than one would think.
  19. So maybe I am dense but isn't titanium flammable? At least at high temperatures?
  20. Well there is Happy Greek down there and Mykonos Gyro's. I beileve Happy Greek is the one you are talking about.
  21. Definitely agree with Brad, that place is awesome! We got a room back in July to watch red white and boom. It was a great spot for that. Tony's is right around the corner from there in the brewery district. It is a dinner jacket type Italian place that is super tasty. http://www.tonysitalian.net/
  22. hahaha nothing a die grinder or sawsall cant fix
  23. Hahahaha what he said. But just remember, car building is like cocaine, once you start, its hard to stop lol.
  24. Nice Bike! Welcome to the club lol. If you plan to rent a bike, and are unsure of what to get, Iron Pony has a great rental program with all kinds of bikes. You can test ride them in the parking lot to get a feel for them too.
