Home Depot on Sawmill had a bunch of Dremel stuff on one of their clearance shelves yesterday. I think there were some sanding drums in there... Sears Hardware also used to have them along with their own brand of sanding drums, but I haven't looked there in a long time.

Columbus is fine - I just got home from Akron-Canton area, I-71 from Rt 61 (Marengo) down to 36/37 (Delaware) was an ice rink. Most of the freeways were fine, but then a snow squall would come up and overwhelm the salt and for a couple of miles - PANIC!!!!! - then back to normal. I did see a newer Mercedes 4-Matic with temp tags trying to slalom threough trafffic, my only disapointment was not seeing it in a ditch later....

Marriott typically has a "concierge level" at their resorts. This is usually a room/floor where you can get free breakfast, snacks during the day and some appetizers in the evening. I don't know of any "honeymoon" access - I access it do to much travel and being a platinum member of Marriott Rewards.

Timken, SKF, FAG, are all good as are MOOG and Precision (but I have heard Precision has slipped a bit in quality). Beware of "house brands" - measure the bearing and hub diameters carefully. The popular way to cheap out on these is to use a smaller bearing and make the hub and/or housing castings thicker. And as to AC Delco - look closely, they manufacture nothing, it's almost all aftermarket suppliers

Yea, I'm not too picky - the older Deerslayers are smooth bore - I think it's the Deerslayer II that is rifled. At this point I'd be happy with either one.

Thanks. Check the serial number on it if you have one. There is some issue with pre-1963 and earlier not working with the later guns. Also, no, I've never had a problem with this gun - and I bought it when I was 18 and used it hard initially - never failed to cycle, dead nuts reliable.

No, I bought it new in the late '70's. Would just like to have a slug barrel for it. (as opposed to buying another complete one)
