My parents have a 2000 Silhouette for sale, well-kept. GM 3400. It has about 250k miles on it, but its all highway. They used to drive it out to Yellowstone and Montana and such on vacation in the summers. New struts and shocks all around, air shocks in the rear, full leather interior. Engine was replaced last year due to head gasket failure. I think they want to get 2000 out of it; not sure if crack-pipe, but it does ride nicely.

Corrosion or buildup on the hub, under the rotor hat, will do that too. If it can't mount flush, it's gon' shake.

They updated the schedule on their website; looks like there are still a couple of events at NTR, but most everything else has been changed to Ackerman. There might be a couple of date changes as well, so be sure to check before you commit to anything...

So I got an email tonight that OVR-SCCA is moving all of their events back to Ackerman for the rest off the year. And the Governor's Cup event on the 14th has been rescheduled for July 11.

Sure enough, I checked my records and I did order some memory cards, and it was in 2012. So it looks like I missed the trainwreck...

I've only had the SVT in for alignment at Keim; no troubles there. They wouldn't do one on my Roush because they were worried, since it's rather low, about getting it on the rack without damage. Which I appreciated actually.

I'm a HUUUGE Apple fanboy, but I cannot generate one ounce of interest or desire for the watch. Passing.

Had a really bad job done on the Bullitt by a shop that I had used in the past and always did a nice job. They offer a lifetime guarantee, so I took it back. They hosed it again. So I called upstairs, where they sent the car to a different location (same chain) and put me in contact directly with the manager, so I kind of became his personal pet project. Third time was a charm.

Note - due to instructor availability, the OVR-SCCA has transposed the dates for the second points event and the Solo driver's school. PE#2 will occur on May 2, and the driver's school has been moved to May 10.

That's a good color on that car, and those are my favorite of the OEM wheel options. I have a couple of friends who have recently bought EcoBoost Fusions; they seem to love them. They swear by 2GFusions.net as the best resource.

Good point - my Abarth makes 160/180 in a car the size of a shoebox, and it is a laugh riot when the boost hits. And being front-wheel drive, it won't step out on you in the wet.

Happens more frequently on an automatic trans, since you generally don't take them out of gear when stopped. One panic freeway stop, then sit with the pedal down for a few seconds, and your rotors are toast.

I have a buddy with a pretty potently tuned MKS ecoboost. Now THAT is a fast sofa.

It loads SLOW. The new updated forum software causes this; it has happened on more than one forum I use Tapatalk on. Once it loads it runs fine; you just have to wait it out.
