  1. Coming from Lancaster it's a bit more of a drive, but my personal favorite is Joey Chang's in Hilliard. It's a mix of Chinese and Thai. Good food, nice atmosphere, decent prices even.
  2. Yep, that's exactly what this is. Free shit.
  3. I have some friends with a horse farm. They have a rather large pile of manure that has been building all winter. Basically they just need it gone. The catch is they will not deliver it. But if you want a truck or trailer load they will load it for you. They are located in the New Albany, Westerville area. PM me and I will send you their contact information.
  4. Normally people filter in from about 8 - 9, few people after 9. From 9 till 10 people start to filter out, but if the weather is good some normally hang out until 11. If you show at 10 there is likely to be a smaller group left hanging out assuming the weather is nice. If it's raining or nasty then probably not. Best thing I could say is call someone who is there and ask. If you don't know anyone going PM me and I'll give you my cell #.
  5. Damn that is a nice garage. If I had the space on my property I would love to do a workspace/garage.
  6. You could do what most people do and just turn up the radio. Is there a heat shield on the cats or on a resonator? Sometimes those rust loose and rattle on the exhaust. If the noise is dependent on RPM then I would look at the trans and forward. If it is dependent on speed then the trans back.
  7. I've enjoyed it. I canceled my premium cable channels to offset the cost. Mainly I've been watching shows I missed. Most recently Battlestar Galactica was a show I wanted to watch but never made the time. When you look at what they have vs. the total of what is out there it's pretty slim, but I've always been able to find something worth my time to watch.
  8. Would it be worth heading over to harbor freight and grabbing a stethoscope? You can borrow mine if you want to come get it.
  9. Nice, I've been thinking about a CCW myself. I hadn't really considered a .380 though.
  10. I would guess that Home Depot, Lowes, or TSC would have 1/8". It wouldn't be cheap though.
  11. My brother in law sent this one to me. It's only good today. $5 off one $20 item. You can use 2 coupons per trip. Mobile 1 oil is $20 per gallon. You can do the math. I used it this morning, they accepted it, I'll head back later for more. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=590&pictureid=4898
  12. Bump for a nice car, and now that the Delteq is off, it runs well too.
  13. Sounds like you'll fit in around here. I tried linking some of the photos from fquick in here, but my HTML skills suck.
  14. I've got a buddy down in Logan. As for as I know he's seen and/or done about every hillbilly trick in the book. I sent him the link and asked him if he's ever seen this. This is his response. "Yea I have. It works great other than when you have to work on or around them, they still seem to get crap all over you." So, apparently it does not dry to a hard shell like paint. The pictures in the article do look good, but not if I'm going to end up rubbing it off any time I put my arm in the engine bay.
  15. Sweet, glad I'm not the only LT1 guy around here. Lemmie know if I can help.
  16. Probably not something you'd be interested in, but I'll toss it out. What about a retired crown vic? It should fit all 4 of the criteria listed. Heavier than a stang but there is a lot of weight that could be ditched.
  17. Maybe look at a networking associates degree? Between that and a law enforcement background you might be pretty handy to have around.
  18. Another option if you're looking for a long term solution is to cover the exposed wood with vinyl and/or aluminum. I had my place done 2 summers ago and love it. No more painting. I had the same guy install my new windows and siding. No exposed wood on the house anywhere now.
  19. Hidden kill switch would be my choice. If you could wire it with some sort of a proximity switch that would be even better. That way the car will not run unless you are within X feet of it. Hide it anywhere on the car since you will never have to manually switch it.
  20. Same box I started with. I have added a mid and a top box now and love them. Decent price for SnapOn and looks in good condition. GLWS.
  21. Civic gets my vote. It's what I got for myself for a daily driver (until the girlfriend moved in full time and now drives 50 miles each way for work). Mine is a 96 and was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
  22. The shoulder belts need to be anchored relatively close to shoulder level to be safe. Like said before if you anchor them to the floor it will cause spinal compression in a front accident. I can't think of any good way of anchoring them if you're not going to attach them to the rear bar. You would have to go way back into the hatch to find the next solid mount point, but that seems like a bad idea to me. I was planning on loosing my back seats when my roll bar goes in. Do you remove the rear bar all the time except for the track? Or do you just move it out of the way for kids getting in and out of the back seat?
  23. Don't tap it back on. You run the risk of it not going on straight and screwing up the crank snout. Or worse ruining the thrust bearing. Is the threading in the crank snout the same as an LT1? If it is I have some threaded rod I can loan you to use to press it back on.
