  1. I also did the FR-S driving event this morning. I was not able to get the traction control off, I tried, but did not want to damage the plastic cover they put on it. The car handled great, had decent power, and very little body roll. It would have been nice to drive it on a normal road some and try it with stock supension. I was amaze at how well the car went through the course. My wife also went, as she is looking for a car (A5, G37, 370z) and she wanted this one over the A5. So we ordered a BRZ this afternoon from Hatfield and another place in Dayton, see who gets here first. Over all I was very impressed with the car, little tight in the cabin for my 6'5" body, but we had a great time there. There are 2 BRZ's on display at the Parade of Homes too. Can't sit in them though.

  4. Wow, that white horse is amazing, too bad the sky is so washed out on those. 2 and 4 are nice edits.
  5. Great pics, looks like you had a blast at the dragon. That boat picture makes it look fast, nice work on shutter speeds.
  6. That is awesome. Love #3 also. Looks like the kids had a lot of fun too!
  7. I lurk here a lot, but never post. I received a D90 from my wife a year ago and am still learning how to use it. I should really read more about it. My last SLR was a Cannon from 1973 that I used in high school for BW photo. I loved developing film and making prints, can't really do that anymore. I am not great with photoshop either, I am running v7.0 I received in college back in 2000. 8. I will be there. Been a few weeks since I was out.
  9. I will be there tearing it up in group 4. I want to make TT this year, see if it happens.
  10. Auto X is fun and just "run what you brung". Spend your money tightening the nut behind the wheel. Then as other mentioned you can figure out where you need to upgrade. You will push through the turns and probably want to get some sticky summer tires after a few sessions. Then you will still push and probably want to slap a huge rear sway bar. By doing some events then changing things, you will be able to see if those changes did anything. Auto X is cheap, fun, and teaches you good driving skills. One more thing, stay away from SCCA, they are packed and you don't get as much driving time as the porshce, BMW and other clubs that host them.
  11. How does one work on that?! I had no idea it was that tight in there.
  12. Was it the auto or stick? I was surprised at how slow a auto feels over a stick on a 4 banger when I was out test driving cars. My MR2 has 200whp and that thing is a blast to drive. I signed up for the BRZ test day on June 23. Draco, that looks great on the rear. Can't wait to see it in person and you debadge parts of it.
  13. That picture is neat and your right, the video is boring. Also try mounting it to the vehicle, less bobbing around usually. I love my GoPro, but it is an old one.
  14. Real men don't pass up the opportunity to buy a new tool.
  15. Totally awesome video. Shows hows awesome and beautiful nature is. http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/xHkq1edcbk4?rel=O
  16. I love weird Al stuff. His polka stuff cracks me up. You know you have a great hit once Weird Al makes a parody of your song.
  17. Get that guy who wants to look around for old things with his metal detector to find the pegs to your property. Talk to them, just knock on the door. I would. Just mow it and put a little round up at the base of the fence so you don't need to weed eat it. If mowing is a pain, then round up the whole thing if they will not mow.
  18. I have a Husky from HD oil-less 21 gallon. It will run most stuff at home, impact, air ratchet, air chisel, tire filler. I can take off 5 lugs without it turning on. I don't know if a paint sprayer or air grinder would run off it for more then a few minutes. If I could do it again, I would get an oil one, they are so much quieter and I would think they would last longer.
  19. Your opinion. I don't mind traffic in a stick. Put a little space between you and the guy in front, put it in first and let it idle along. There is almost no traffic here, I came from NY and NYC traffic where if you could see the car tires in front of you touching the road, there was enough space for someone to sneak in between you. Easy driving here.
  20. Escort, Neon, Toyota truck, MR2, Element, Civic, SV650 bike. All my cars have been a manual. Never owned a stick shift. Even driving in NYC and Long Island traffic, I prefer a stick.
  21. Sold and paid for. Sorry
  22. Let your turbo or NA cool off with ease. Look like a million bucks walking away from a running car. $40, you get what is pictured. http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/timer.jpg
