I almost feel bad for Gary. If his car was only born with a V8 people wouldn't give him so much crap. I remember looking at his car a few summers ago in my rear view mirror thinking how nice it looked in the sun. Purple is not my person favorite color but to each his own. Lucky for my I couldn't here his exhaust over my A/C and stereo.

So I'm looking to upgrade my stock clutch to something with a lot more holding power. Perhaps in the 500 CHP range. I was flipping through the jegs book and was looking at the twin disc set ups, more specifically the McCleod street twin disc. I will still be driving the car daily so there are a few concerns I have. Basically I don't want it to wear out in a year and I can not stand chattering. My question is this, has anyone here ran this clutch? If so, what was it like. IDC about a stiff pedal so long as its not super duper stiff? I'm open to all opinions about this clutch and even single disc type's.

The rims are in really good condition. So..........how's that bar-B-que coming. Lol

I actually just talked to you guys last week about redoing my C-5 wheels. The CR price really is a great deal.

IDK about a the DS in that other forum. Sounds sketchy. Like it would develop excessive play at the slip joint and become very weak???????

If you have a fixed yolk at both ends without a slip joint, the first bump you hit will be catastrophic as it will try to shove the driveshaft into the end of the transmission. A fixed yolk at both ends= a two piece driveshaft. Theres just no way around it unless you want to delete your rear suspension.

I've used drive line 1 for years. They built the shaft for my Cutlass back in 2000 and I've never had one problem with it. It has withstood thousands of hard launches and even more hard miles on the road. (back when I drove the car everywhere) I've never even done anything to the u-joints.

I am just gonna drop the tank. It will give me a reason to finally install the LCA brackets I've had for a while.

Get a white cowl and a white deck lid and call your car two tone.

I have thought about cuting an access panel to get to it but I just don't know if I want to cut the floor. It certainly would be a whole lot easier.

Has anyone here ever used a Ganatelli or Venom fuel pump? The pump went bad on my 99 today and all I want to put a bigger pump in for future mods. The only pumps jegs sells is the Granatelli and a Venom. I was just curious if anyone had bad luck with them as I don't want to have to pull the tank more than needed.

I'm sure EVERY farmer goes exactly by the manufacturer's directions for how it's applied. I'd say a definetly a huge issue.
