  1. The pile of parts is getting big. I cant wait to get some warmer weather to get these parts installed!
  2. yeah I just cant seem to find anything local that will do the job. It doesn't need to haul a ton of weight, just my supra, some fuel and maybe a few spare parts. I wish I could find one that would work before the season starts....
  3. Yeah I've been finding lots of "new" trailers around the 4000$ from "dealers" Not sure if that's a gimmick to get you in the door or not, but I'd like to stay around that price range. The trailer that was stolen may work, but it would be a squeeze for my car in there. Plus I don't know that I have the heart to ask after the ordeal they went through
  4. Looking to buy a 24'-28' enclosed race trailer for my supra. Doesn't need to be fancy, just needs to be enclosed and in good shape. If you know anyone with a good used trailer, please let me know.
  5. Here ill save you the dyno time. Print and put in a nice frame http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff71/snkpoison/IMG_20121018_203745.jpg
  6. just adjust your rpm sync on the dyno and you can get the dyno to say whatever you want. :gabe: It would be more impressive to just have a nice safe tune and race all year without having the car down for another 24 months due to a windowed block. Hell I don't even have a dyno sheet for my car. only the little video SP did.
  7. Why must you play with fire? Leave it be for now. 700lbft needs to be your max. If you want more HP build that spare block then retune it on an 88mm. You are going to be a sad puppy when she starts Throwing parts out.
  8. you should list these on FB 2j parts lists. Those would sell pretty quick at those prices. Try this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/235307523165508/
  9. if you need a pro-efi plug kit, let me know!
  10. Ah this reminds me of my car. If you get too deep keep in mind SP is always there to come to the rescue. I was beyond confused with my wireing. I took it to larry and he was happy to help me get the car squared away. I understand its much cheaper to do it yourself, but if you find yourself beating your head into a wall, there are some people out there who can help!
  11. unions were necessary when they were formed in the 1920s-30s. when people were fired for losing a limb they lost at work... yes that is when unions were needed. Now they are just a gluttony of jimbobs trying to get 8 weeks vacation from their $35 an hour job because that license plate installation is so taxing on the body with their perfectly ergonomic tools. I guarantee if the union would move in there, VW would close that facility in short time just to prove a point.
  12. im in with 2 mufflers for a street car class. and I will gladly make a cruise if needed
  13. Looks like a fake tial gate to me. Also look into mojo performance on the coils. Much easier than piecing a set of lq9 coils together yourself. You can get a set of brackets with the wire harness and all hardware & used tested coils for cheap.
  14. Its the Pro-EFI color can display. It allows me to setup any custom screen I want to view any of the sensors connected to the ECU. IAT, AFR, MAP (boost gage) Oil pressure, oil temp, radiator temp, Nitrous pressure, etc. Here is a demo of the display:
  15. in the light of the upcoming season, I'm getting the social media in order: http://www.youtube.com/miller11386 http://instagram.com/chris_miller_supra https://www.facebook.com/ChrisMillerSupra
  16. Continuing with the "go big or go home" theme for this year, I picked up this slightly used Precision 8889 from Jon. Looks to be in good shape and I'm excited to see what it will do on a 6 speed car. It made 1138whp through a glide. A big thanks to Reid at SP for knowing my need and hooking me up with Jon to work out a deal. He went to a pro mod 88, so no need for his old 8889. Jon's new turbo on the left, and old turbo on the right. Shipped to me and a shot from when I unboxed it: Billet PTE wheel is in fine shape! Video of the turbo on Jon's powerglide car with the 8889 is here: At some point, I need to start installing all these goodies!
  17. I severely doubt you will pay more in insurance unless your ins company sucks the fat one or you have a horrid record. Our ins is 3 occurrences in 3 years. (accidents, tickets, infractions etc) Otherwise the rate does not change.
  18. Alex L is the only person I trust for good tig work. I drive 3 hours from canton to Heath just for his expertise
  19. Nope. I don't have any desire to go there.
  20. Don at AP put together the spool diff for me. With .005 backlash it should be pretty tough to break this season. http://i1035.photobucket.com/albums/a440/miller11386/Spool_zpsc1f8e426.jpg
  21. you got a NA short block for 200 bucks? The deal of the month goes to you sir. Lets see some photos!
  22. don't associate that car with the mkiv. Its nothing like it and nothing will be. If they call it a supra, they will just piss on their old name like dodge did with challenger and dart.
  23. HKS triple GD pro. It works, but it doesn't have much of an engagement point. I was satisfied with the power it held though!
  24. Back at it for the upcoming 2014 season. Bought a members old rear end/spool setup.. some assembly required. I will be ordering parts and hopefully getting it all operational soon. Here is some carnage of what his car did to the 3.13 gears! Another component I was ready to grab as soon as it was released was the PHR Oil filter relocation kit. Looks great and I cant wait to get it on the car. No more busted knuckles and sliced fingers trying to get the filter off and away from the nitrous lines! And finally, I bit the bullet and finally got this: 2014 could be a fun year.
