  1. nice trophies. I wish I could come compete for one!
  2. well im not running my manual car on DOT tires, so goodluck to all the participants! In other series, manual cars are permitted to have a full ET drag slick if equipped with a true H pattern manual transmission that is engaged and disengaged with a pedal clutch. If I ever put a TH400 in I will be sure to come race on my DOT's
  3. Are any big boys coming out to this event? Id like to make it, but it will be close. Only time will tell!
  4. Gathering up some odds and ends....
  5. R888 are supposed to have the best grip in a radial/ street tire. I have not used them but they con is they are stupid soft and wont get you a lot of miles. M&H drag radials are what I run on my supra. They hook up to 800hp, but im running a 325 wide tire. Again not a great # of miles to be had with these tires. Can you go to a full slick or not? M&H makes a nice 26.0x8.5x17" full slick that would fit as well. Evo guys run these on stock tires and they are hooking up to 600+hp on the AWD platform.
  6. 4/27 at national trail IFO. hopefully you will see it run there!
  7. Working in storage units isn't fun, but sometimes you just have to get it done....
  8. ill start the bidding at $2.00 a mile. Keep in mind this is an enclosed hauler, and am already a supra owner, so I understand their delicate and special nature
  9. depending on location and distance I would also be an option. It would have to fit into my schedule though
  10. Another BPA touch for the upcoming season. My upper intercooler pipe:
  11. I've been all over racing junk. Nothing but haulers that are way more than my budget. I am going to check one out near Youngstown soon. Hopefully tonight!
  12. I'd like to just get a clean pass that doesn't bog horribly! The car built to run, so it will be all up to me to drive it. I know several guys on the forums have capable 6 speed cars and still have yet to crack that 8 second barrier. Its like hitting a MLB fastball, or running a marathon. Even with all the correct tools, a 8 second 6 speed is very difficult! My goal is a single digit pass this year. If I do that, I will be happy.
  13. More of Alex's handy work...Compressor housing with the new flange welded.... check! Carbon fiber headlight intake courtesy of Don at accelerated performance
  14. Still looking! and race season is coming!
  15. Saturn sky..... Very rare car. Not worth shit.
  16. i saw it. pretty decent flick. However I saw it in 3D and was a bit pissed that I got to pay $30 for it. It was entertaining though.
  17. fawk. ill be in Chicago that weekend with the car
  18. when is this again? I may come down and put in a measly 800hp
  19. Posting has been deleted by its author Do he have an email? hard to make calls during normal hours.
  20. Well started to tear what I can apart while the car is in storage... Injectors look a bit rough.: And finally fixing the leaking intake manifold: Thanks to Alex at BP Autosports for taking the time to weld the oil laden plenum back to the cast runners. It wasn't easy but I was happy with how it came out.... don't have to worry about leaks anymore! I will post pics once all the work is done!
  21. & RX-7 Wheels. Commonly referred in the supra community as the "poor man's drag pack"
  22. ^ Exactly.. This is the right way to do it: This is tight ass way to do it: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g24/prelude760/2010%20Build/DSC_0092.jpg
  23. and uglier than sin IMO:
  24. Those wheels are the nicest front runners I've seen. They cost a fortune but I couldn't resist.
