I don't think so for a police auction. as they don't get tittles for a car they confiscated. that's why they come with a salvage title. I'll ask someone I know in the tittle business monday. she also works for a repo company. she also worked for the BMV in price hill. another thing I know for sure is if it was bought from a police auction they require it to be inspected by the highway patrol before you can get a title for it. (at least that's how it is for cars)

that doesn't mean shit. a insurance company don't total bikes for scratches.

a salvage tittle doesn't only mean it was crashed and rebuilt. if it was ever impounded by the cops and sold at auction it will come with a salvage tittle. and it will say "mileage unknown" on it. that's why I'm guessing because of that, it probably came from a police auction. it probably came from a drug raid and the cops sold it at auction. all of this info might be available. you'll have to make some calls to find out.

I'm sure this will make it on some dudes website or blog and spread around 20 forums in a few months...2 years from now it will be considered the bible of motorcycle mechanics. just like starting a bike in the winter will destroy it. the crown of the road is why your tires are wearing funny, battery tenders are a must, changing oil in the fall and then in the spring is a must, beating the shit out of a brand new engine should be done or it wont ever let the rings seat properly...I heart stupid people...

nothing has lasted as long as a ac delco battery for me. that's the only batteries I will buy. here in cincy there is a store called bills battery they sell ac delco batteries for cheap. without a core return I got one for less than $60. I've been working part time at a used car lot and see a lot of dead batteries and the majority of them are duralast and interstate. I refuse to buy any battery with a cap to fill the acid. those are NOT maintenance free batteries...I don't care what's printed on the label. the true maintenance free batteries are 100% sealed and seem to last a lot longer. if you can't get at least 5+ years from a battery then you are doing something wrong.

buy a high efficiency furnace if your heat bills are out of control. my furnace is 94% effiecient. it cost me less to heat my 1600sq foot house at 70 degrees than to cool it in the summer. $100 in the winter $140 summer. those little space heaters are junk. it barely puts out anything. a friend of mine has one and it can't warm a 9X13 room.

I was at the junk yard the other day and found someones reg with the price on it...they have the same god damn vehicle and pay $12 less than I do just because of the part of town they lived in.

I watched that last night. and I agree with him. I hope obama takes the hints.. it's exactly what me and my friends have said would happen before obama was elected. even if it passed the way obama had envisioned it to be...after he got out of office it would turn into the biggest nightmare the usa has ever seen thanks to conservatives trying to make it. to be where people demanded and protested it so much they would ultimately get what they always wanted...to kill the bill completely. the best and only thing I can see obama could do at this point is to veto the bill. move on and fix the economy. because it doesn't really seem to be being fixed at the moment.

I have to admit ol obama "had" a pretty decent idea...the senate went a fucked it all over to hell and back...obama is doing a poor job and needs to get more pro active in the writing of this bill. it's pissing off a lot of voters that voted for him. his whole presidency depends on what this bill does...or doesn't. which as soon as it turned into a insurance coverage and with the mandates of everyone MUST have some insurance....I started hoping it would just die. it's nothing of what obama had planned and I think if he doesn't just veto it it will put a end to this approval ratings once and for all. he'll go down as the 2nd worst pres in us history next to george bush jr.
