first of all, welcome to the site. you'll get used to wearing the air in the summer, and squirming out of your suit.. lol it only gets unbearable for a few weeks at a time. it's not too bad. if you still ride the street you'll have to hook up with us boys from down here around cincy...we know a lot of great twisties in the country side of kentucky. IE8 has stopped 3 attempted attacks on my computer so far. HP toshiba sony and mac are the best shit you can get. my HP uses a Asus brand mobo and Nvidia chipsets. dell always uses some junk from a company of way less quality than pc chips. (the hyosung or shinko of computer companies) and has crazy fucked up hard to install drivers odd ball bioses that aren't compatible with other operating systems other than what it came with etc...they are the worst computers you can get if you ask me.

It appears they are selling at cost, trying to compete for the business. Sucks for them but it's great for everyone needing tires. Michelin Pilot Powers for $200 a set? Continental has a new lower price tire that looks really good also. It is the Conti Motion and it's priced about the same as Shinko's.

importer...not distributor. there was multiple distributors already. there are now 2 importer's of michelin tires I was told by a local shop owner. and they are the one's controlling the "expensive" pricing. so now he is now allowed to sell them at competitive prices of other brands. I figured you knew about this...word has it STT or STG (I forget) was the only importer of michelin for a while.

I don't really see the point in messing with that thing. you can get brand new Toshiba laptops right now at best buy for $350. I wouldn't spend more than a few dollars for parts for that thing. it's not really worth anything other than sentimental value.

I mean what's the point of the fat wallet site? I don't see how they give you discounts or coupons they just link you to other sites that still have the original prices. do I have to be a member etc? I looked at one before because of some local commercials and they want you to pay a monthly membership to get coupons.

I had a belkin router (not a wireless router) before and I had to reset it constantly to get a connection. I'm sure they are better now but I don't care. my netgear router I never have to look at. it just works. and it's a old one. wgt624 v.2. 108mbps firewall router. my downloads speed tests come back in the 5mbps ranges. right where my provider claims. so it's plenty fast enough without all the latest stuff. http://www.netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/WirelessGRouters/WGT624.aspx

I don't have that one but my netgear router has worked perfectly. I love being able to block everything but my 2 computers from connecting to it. so my neighbors have to go buy their own internet. I love having micro center around here. way better than going to best buy and comp usa (when it was in business) and all those little hole in the wall stores like laptopworld over by tri-county mall.
