  1. he won't say but someone mentioned carbon lorain and he said you are getting close. it can happen to any pad that is glued to the backplate. which is pretty much all of them.
  2. that's not 55 links. that's 110. you have to count the inner ones also. which still sound a little short. I know I have to get 120 and cut about 3-4 out. but a 600cc has to use larger sprockets too. so that might be why.
  3. ferodo xrac or stac pads are the best there is. I've rode a few different bikes with EBC HH and Galfer sintered and my bike with Ferodo ST (sintered road) and they have a noticeable higher level of grip. the xrac pads are for 50% track 50% road use. ( engineered in conjunction with honda and yamaha world supersport race teams). the STAC(same as mine but with the holes drilled in them) are the sinter grip pads with array cooling holes. they are 75% road and 25% tack use. they cost more than standard organic pads but when you consider they last 3Xs longer it's actually cheaper in the long run. and have a much higher level of performance it makes it a no brainer. of course if you like a good set of brakes that is. if not go with what everyone else uses galfer and ebc. a tid bit of info about Ferodo's brakes. http://www.oppracing.com/products/600-ferodo-brake-pads/
  4. I think that Nicky hayden had a say in the looks since it's a nicky hayden edition. in case you didn't bother to click the link with the picture, http://www.cyclenews.com/articles/road-racing/2009/07/02/the-nicky-hayden-ducati
  5. tires get like that from a improperly setup suspension. honestly. that's the god honest truth. in the sportbike world we have adjustable suspensions. guys will set them up so it "feels" right to them but the tires will wear something awful. that's because they have it set up all wrong. without being able to adjust the suspension, you are going to be stuck with that type of a problem for the most part. depending which edge of the tread is raised tells you if it's too much rebound dampening or not enough. suspension is almost all rebound control. that's the most important. a lot of guy like to blame it on under inflation etc. but they are wrong. some of it might be. but it's almost always a rebound problem. about the moving of the bars, I would look into balancing the tire first.
  6. usually it is the tires as long as the rim is true.
  7. I'm not talking about the rider, jesus get over yourself. I'm just stating it's easier to ride a small bike faster even if it has a lot less hp.
  8. a few more for you https://corporateportal.ppg.com/NA/Refinish/PPGRefinish/EN http://pc.dupont.com/dpc/en/US/html/visitor/home/home.html

  10. one corner on the whole road and you guys can't handle it? LOL don't come to kentucky you wouldn't make it 1/5 of a mile.
  11. that's true. very true and I don't argue it. but I'm not saying my R6 is faster in a straight line. just because that thing has 175hp doesn't mean it can lap a track faster than a 125.
  12. sam thinks because he bought the fastest bike with the most hp he can beat everyone and everything. I'm not knocking your riding abilities sam. but you fail to realize something lighter and more nimble can handle better. you might think that thing handles like a dream but I doubt you've ever really pushed that bike to find out if it really does or not. have you ever done some track riding on it? I'm sure you're going to say yes but I don't believe you. if you ever do, well you'd find out how much the weight and size of your bike affects how easy it is to ride it. I bet you'd be worn out in a matter of 15min
  13. arrogant much? holy shit dude, get that head out of your ass. you bought a super fast bike and think because you can do 190 in a straight line you can outride anything on the road??? any idiot can twist the throttle. you just have to get over the fact your bike isn't top dog at all. without even knowing you I pretty much can guarantee I could pull in faster lap times than you can on your busa.
  14. no shit a fat bitch telling us what to eat. LOL and no the fries do not rot. I've seen them in cars at the junk yard and they are just hard as rocks.

  16. you keep telling yourself THAT^ they're too heavy and have a too much rake and too much wheel base to handle like a smaller bike. same thing goes for my bike VS a 250 or 125. it just can't do it. I can out brake you and carry more speed into a corner, and transition from left to right etc easier/faster. it's just physics. your bike is made as a novelty of sorts. mine is made for racing.
  17. hey what was that??? it was my post going over your head:D I was just being a sarcastic asshole like a few of the other dicks that was busting nick's chops for the same thing. the only time a busa could hang with a R6 is on a straight...
  18. not quite, thats the regulators job to cut or allow more current to pass into the electrical system.
  19. I seen some bad things about those actually. the one bike was able to pull the chain adjuster and smash it. I still think it was due to him not tightening the axle nut enough though. but that is one thing I've seen about them. you might even come up with the story by using google. and honestly, they are pretty much just bling. you don't even have to adjust a chain that much. and if you are every time you remove the rear wheel, you are wasting time because you don't have to. you just need to pull the axle out and let the wheel drop to the ground, roll it foreward and remove the chain. reverse to install.(a shit load of people don't know this) I'd personally use the money on better things that actually work like suspension or brakes etc.
  20. sambusa, I don't think you put a whole lot of thought into that. grammar is lacking also. I could do it better.
  21. I wonder if I'm the reason they are talking about sportbikes...sunday about 4pm I got tired of the two road hogs on fort washington way doing 45mph right next to each other blocking all the lanes. so I went between them. LOL fuckem they need to learn to get the fuck over if they don't want to do the speed limit at least.
