  1. if you were considering sharkskins then try catalyst composites. I painted a set of these for someone and they are on the very high end of racing fairings. like sharkshinz. http://www.catalystracingcomposites.com easy fairings looks like the pre painted stock style stuff. unless that's what you need, no race fairing kit is going to be like that.
  2. a V6 in a jeep cherokee? I thought they were all inline 6. ^ oops didn't see your post already stating that. doh! bring it down to cincinnati auto sales on the corner of grand and westwood ave. my friend owns the lot and might buy it if it's not too bad of shape. or you could take it to west harrison auto auction wednesdays or saturdays. wed auctions start around 6 show up a little early to get it in and paperwork done etc. I don't know what time they start on sat.
  3. well they sent out a tech and he noticed why right away before he showed up to my house. they had me on the old system that is outdated. I was like the last person on it. they installed my new modem and now i get this, http://www.speedtest.net/result/894853485.png' alt='894853485.png'>
  4. well we all now know they don't spend their profits on safety.
  5. let's not throw stones here, you're using a garage sale special jig saw to cut holes. and it looks like you got the top of the line skill brand saws laying there.. real carpenters...ahh forget it.
  6. yeah I'm more of a super clean sound than really loud and lots of bass guy now. give me one good 12" or 10" sub like a solo X and a nice powerful Alpine amp for it and that's perfect to me.
  7. that's a little on the enormous side isn't it? my brother had a box made by kicker for 3 8" comp vr speakers that was about 1/4 of that thing lol.
  8. yeah but remember what they did back when it was $4? every week it was another reason this... another reason that... to keep it at $4 etc. they know they were bullshitting everyone and now so does the public. $2.50 a gallon is kind of high but fair enough.
  9. ^ that's what they said when it was $4. they stood by the "supply and demand" bullshit. and people just accepted it. Jim Cramer reported about it on mad money and so did Bill Oriely on the oreily factor. which was a shock to me fox news let him do it. it's no surprise right when the stock market took a crash, the price of gas went back to $2. do they really expect people to believe the demand dropped 50%? I'm not that naive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfzZjc_OMyw
  10. I'm not sure. so I can't say you're wrong. but that's what I've always read about dsl. even on dsl reports.com cable slows the more people that are on it, DSL doesn't. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cable users share network bandwidth, ZoomTown subscribers do not. This is a key difference between the two broadband options. Does this matter? Yes. Because cable users share their network connection with other users in their local area, their average connection can be slower than its potential speed, particularly during peak hours. If everyone is on the network at the same time, access speeds can noticeably drop. Because ZoomTown's ADSL lines are dedicated, there is no need to share bandwidth with your neighbors. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so I see what you are saying, I share my speed with other close neighborhoods, but I don't share it with my next door neighbor like cable does. I guess it's the way cable and the phone lines are set up?
  11. they want the $4 a gallon prices back. and they know just what to do to get it. did you guys notice how much gas rose in the last few weeks? what was it in the spring $2.40 and now it's for no reason $2.80
  12. FMF is actually one of the best off road exhaust man there is. I have the TI one on my R6. it's held up to a car smashing into it and being slammed on the ground. TI is some hard tough shit. the mid pipe is so thin, litterally like 2 sheets of paper and it barely got dented. I reneted a tail pipe expander and it couldn't get the dent out of it completely. the shit's that hard. I don't like the blue, but I found it on ebay for $180 brand new and I needed a pipe since my stock one got hosed up in a crash. the mid pipe will turn blue and gold if you ride it at the track from the high heat in the exhaust. it started out a silver. I think that part looks pretty cool. another thing I thought was kinda cool, the clamp that came with it is made in Cincy.
  13. dsl doesn't slow down the more people share it. it's not cinci bell telling people that, it's how it works. that's why in some states warner cable was implementing pay per use plans. if you go over so many mb per month you were penalized.
  14. you road runner guys have some terrible upload speeds though. I bet it sucks uploading stuff to youtube etc.
  15. NC. court was in robbinsville. NC has some of the toughest speeding laws. if you live there and get a 9 over you supposedly lose your license for a bit.
  16. ^that is average for dsl. that's what mine used to be. but now it's.
  17. like I said, I know I was speeding, I don't mind getting caught. (52 in a 45) it's coming all the way back to pay a ticket that's bullshit. they don't let you just mail it in. they want that court cost money too. because they're crooks. so you know there's another day off work, gas to get there, etc etc. court costs were $140. $140 court costs $75 ticket $60 gas $120 a day lost wages $60 hotel room $25 food $480 so that's what I paid for one ticket. it's not worth going back to the gap. the cops are just too over bearing and the laws are set up to really screw out of state drivers. as for paying a lawyer to show up. that was a bigger waste of money. they wanted a min of $500. then you still might have to pay the ticket.
  18. I wonder if the heat is effecting it? It seems like everyone is saying their internet speeds have dropped noticeably. my dad uses verizon's internet and it's down to a crawl almost like dial up.
  19. yeah they are sending techs out. they all said there isn't anything wrong. signals in the lines are all good. and CB isn't concerned with fixing anything. they keep telling me that's the normal speeds of zoomtown. but I know they are full of crap. it's always been higher than that. I know what they did, they put my service on their lite package and are charging me the rate for the business speeds which is supposed to be over 5mb. the place I live in now, we had trouble with connection loss when I first moved in (2005). they fixed it and my downloads were always right at or very close to 3mb. as for roadrunner, everyone on dslreports.com says roadrunner is even worse. at peak times you download speeds drop to around 400kbps. and people keep saying they switched to zoomtown and it's noticeably faster. plus warner cable is known for trying to get you to pay per use on their internet. at the same time people in my same area post screenshots of their download test and are getting 10mb download speeds. I have no idea how but they are.
  20. someone I know just came back from there and said the cops were there all week. sat-wed (when he left) from 7am to dark. all I know is, you DO NOT want a ticket there. like I said, you HAVE to show up to court. unless you pay a lawyer to. I got a ticket on the cherehola. it's only 45 and he was coming the opposite way. I don't mind paying for a ticket. it's the whole you have to show up to court thing that was bs. and I'm not lying about how many people were there in court. they had to set up 3 lines and 3 judges to handle all the people. all of them were there for some kind of traffic offence. 400 of us they said before they started the hearings. they lowered my speed but you have to pay court fees etc. which turned out to be more than the ticket.
  21. I love paying for the premium service and getting the slowest dsl around. even their own speed tests show my service at 800 Kbps download:mad: it was always 3mb or so. I noticed a huge slowdown a few weeks now. I figured something was going on so I tested my speeds and found out it's not even downloading at 1mb when it's advertised at 5mb. this is the first time since I've had zoomtown that the service has been this slow. I got zoomtown back in 2000 or about. even at that time it was 1.5mb downloads. I called and they have no idea what to do other than give me a $5/month discount..but I already pay $45 a month and they are advertising it for $35. I'm so fucking pissed off. I want them to charge me for what I'm getting. and that's the dsl lite package for $15/month. but they wont. it's so slow, I can't watch anything on youtube without waiting for it to download for at least 3-4 min. and I'm talking about 2-3 min music videos. shit used to download in seconds. windows update literally took 40 min to download about 70mb worth of stuff last night. what are you other zoomtown customers getting?
  22. lets go cut the converters off our cars and get it over with.
  23. $1500 for that thing? I don't know about that. that's a $900 one if you ask me.
  24. I've only been to the gap once since 07 when I got my ticket. the cops are just way overbearing. it's not even remotely fun there anymore. plus they make you show up for court. there is no paying it out etc. last time the court had over 400 moving violations tickets. I spent the better part of a whole day there waiting for my turn. fucking ridiculous.
