what do they mean by drop offs "edge traps" present? wtf is that?
-
in linux it seems to work really well. and I'm the kind of person that likes having all the guages in my instrument cluster that uses numbers. that's a metaphor for I like all the guizmos and options. but I liked the way opera looked etc the most. it's def better than FF in linux that's for sure. it doesn't have all the lag like FF did in websites like youtube.
-
if you guys like chrome you would probably like Opera better. it has tabbed browsing too. but also has a lot more other features that I like over chrome. http://www.opera.com/browser/ it's also available for phones and devices.

don't forget 27. hella long and takes a while to get to it from williamstown but well worth it. just don't crash...it's a long long way from home. it takes you to georgetown.

do I have time to do a load of laundry?

I'm sorry but bmw is kind of a junk car. every single one that anyone I know that had one always had electrical problems. and sensor that constantly failed. we had a 2002 525i on our car lot with 120k miles on it and it smoked like a freight train (burned oil) and the check engine light was on for 4 different sensors. which by the way would cost over $100 each. anyway these engines blow my mind how they work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BCgl2uumlI&feature=fvw

that's how IE8 is now. I went to what looks like a legitimate website before and IE8 stopped and said a dangerous program has tried to download itself in the background. everything you try to download, IE8 checks for viruses, malware and trojans first. it even has the option to report it to microsoft for approval. it's called smart screen filter. http://www.microsoft.com/security/filters/smartscreen.aspx
-
do you get regular updates from microsoft? they may have released a fix for it. the big thing man I swear to you, IE8 stops viruses and trojans and malware better than firefox does. I've tried it. it doesn't matter I can install XP pro as many times as I want so I purposly try to get viruses just to see if microsofts stuff actually works. so far all the dangerous sites FF has let them download and stuff. IE8 doesn't let them get that far. it stops them from loading the page even. but microsoft security essentials has stopped them from installing themselves. I think FF has some homework to do. I think the developers think they have it all figured out and stoped worring about it and now it's easy for anyone to circumvent.

there are some forms I go to and you can see the page loads from all kinds of different servers. ads.doubleclick. is a major one. FF stops loading when it gets to these. like it doesn't know what to do. I have several computers. 4 to be exact. 2 of them with 2 hard drives. all of them FF loads pages slowly on. I've tried it in XPpro, Ubuntu 9, ubuntu 10, vista, and windows 7. I can show you a video I made of how slow FF is vs IE8. http://www.youtube.com/user/blue03r6#p/u/7/mB9CM-sarkw FF has trouble working with Adobe Flash player. it responds very slowly even on a computer with a dual core processor and 3 gigs of ram with a high end Nvidia graphics card. you try to scroll down a page in youtube and it hangs as if you are using a computer from 12 years ago.
-
you know what's funny? FF is a slow somebitch in linux. I mean dial up slow. it's pathetic. which is why I've been using opera with linux. I still think IE8 is far better than FF for windows. FF always stops loading pages for a few seconds. it hangs on all the damn ads on forums etc. It litterally takes 9+ seconds to load a page on a normal forum like this one. IE8 and opera, about 2.5 seconds I've also tested IE8 VS FF in a security scenerio. IE8 stopped all the attacks FF let most of them through. the ones FF let through microsoft security essentials stopped from loading/installing. I honestly don't understand where everyone gets FF is so great. (having a few computers to test stuff is great)

man you are missing so much other stuff on that map.

mine leaked to the outside. filled up spark plug hole #3. it was cracked. and i never over heated the damn thing ever. wait till you see what the casting looks like. it looks like they use styrofoam for a mold. the casting # I"m almost sure is under the valve cover. they need it to give you the proper one for your truck. they have a new oder page and now list those heads at $175. http://www.shop.headsonly.com/CHEVROLET-S-10-22-REBUILT-CYLINDER-HEAD-S-10-22-OHV.htm I have a 97 and it had 154k miles on it. I have a 2002 with the 4.3 v6 also. I wanted to keep the 97 because it is in perfect shape so I ended up buying a rebuilt engine instead of just the head. I figured with 154k, it might not make it much longer...it's only a gm. lol. but man these little engines are outragious. $1600 for a rebuilt engine. but it came with a 100k mile 3 year warranty.
-
that's not a discount lol. they are $98 anyway. come on help a forum member out!
-
oh shit I didn't see that we were talking about a s/10 for real. I thought your R6 took a shit. any machine shop can check it. and it's usually not that expensive. for what it's worth, I'd buy a rebuilt head. I know of a place where you can buy a complete rebuilt head for about $225. (it's listed with beretta/corsica/cavalier/s-10) you'll have to find which casting # yours is. call them up and they will tell you where to look for the #. http://www.headsonly.com/gm.htm
-
I thought it was beer and the grill
-
haha a S/10 or cavalier? (I have some experience in that area) mine cracked. and chances are, if it got hot enough to leak it's cracked or warped.

I took a pipe to my old icon helmet to see how good it was made. I swear I about broke my back and arms trying to destroy that damn thing and it barely left any scuffs on it. but bent the pipe instead. and this was a fence post pipe not some thin walled soft brass/aluminum pipe. I was actually impressed by it. I could not break that damn thing. I even slammed it on concrete a bunch of times. took a little paint off but that was it.
-
it could be your fat head losing weight. lol sometimes my helmet feels tighter than others. I think it's just my FAT head/face.
-
they don't actually go by the date of purchase. Your Shoei helmet is covered under warranty for five years from purchase date or seven years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects. Please note that damage caused by the consumer, (i.e. dropping the helmet), etc., is not covered under warranty first link http://www.shoei-helmets.com/FAQ.aspx I got a free new rear spoiler for mine when it broke. they don't ask about anything but the date code on the inside of the helmet. since they can't prove when I bought it they go solely by the manufacture date. so 7 it is..
-
well considering shoei warranties their helmets for 7 years. I'd say 7 is it's design limit. maybe I'll get a new one in 3 years.

the news in cincy is all over the heat stuff. we have a heat emergency in place right now. I've felt it much hotter here before and no heat emergency stuff was in place. I'm barely breaking a sweat.
-
why is everyone whining about how hot it is in ohio? heat index of 95? I don't feel it:dunno: I think people spend too much time in the AC. I'm in the outdoors all day long. often in the shade but I have become accustom to it. and it just doens't feel that bad outside. I remember it being way hotter and no one bitching this much.
-
you know what I just might do it myself. my uncle works at a muffler shop and they have those high dollar balancers with the computer screens etc. I just might buy a damn bag of those beads and find out myself. I'll have to see if his employer is down with it first. to be honest I want them to work. for one no ugly weights stuck to my rims. two, it's a hell of a lot easier. and 3 if it stays balanced over the life of the tire
-
so you're saying a real balancer doesn't spin a tire fast enough to properly balance it? then I guess you should notify all the balancer companies they are doing it wrong.
-
niether of those prove anything. a plastic bottle? really? that proves your tire is balanced? it still looks all jacked up anyway. the first video, that shows a tire spining on a fucking home made rack of some kind. that's not a tire balancer. I want to see a video of a real balancing machine showing in a display if the tire is balanced. stop the tire, put a weight on it in any spot and spin it again and lets see the display say it's balanced. not a home made spinning machine a real tire balancer. http://www.ammcoats.com/products_wheel.aspx?id=169
