I guess walmart will have to roll forward prices.. the nascar watching, skoal chewing, wife beating, real tree clothes wearing red necks are going to have to pay a little extra for their fine quality crafted furniture.

1st to 2nd can be a rough one. I often use the clutch for this one regardless if I'm on the street or the track. the rest I do with the clutch also for the most part on the street. but never touch it for upshifts on the track. the other part of your question is one a lot of newer riders always seem to ask. there really isn't a good answer because it really depends what you are doing. if you are racing down the track, take it to redline. there's no need to take it to lets say 10k if you are intending to just get up to a 40mph speed limit. but if you want to get up to 40 really quickly, fine, do it. but there's no reason you have to take it that high to just be riding it. if that makes sense.. I see guys riding around town all the time with their bike revved way up doing the speed limit. there's no reason to. it wastes gas and puts more wear on your engine. but don't ride around on a 600 at 35mph in 6th so it's struggling to do the speed limit. that can actually be hard on the engine bearings. the term is lugging the engine. me personally, I typically go by what the engine feels like. I can tell if I roll on the gas and it's struggling. I'll need to downshift of course. but I don't stare at the tach. that doesn't really tell you anything. typically with the stock gearing at lets say 35 all I need is 4th to keep the revs down and it still has enough power to get me up slight inclines with ease. there's no reason to beat on it for cruising around.

you'd be surprised how many of those fault line crevasses we have in cincy. it's like they just don't care about it and leave them like that for years. but, you'd also be surprised that your bike tire will actually float right over these things without even feeling it. I'd had to do it by accident a bunch of times and not once could I even feel it.

black dudes would be all over those two babes.

what's with the fucking commercials on youtube. for the future if you have something to share don't post these assholes that put ads on their video.

it's turned into ebay. and business postings on ebay is why I quit using it. they've let stores use ebay as their personal website. it's not even about bidding on things people have for sale anymore. it's become a collection of stores trying to sell shit for more than they are worth in most cases. and people who think they can go to flea markets and buy garbage and resell it.

it comes on at those temps because if it reaches that temp, that usually means you are sitting in traffic etc. no air rushing over the radiator. so the fan has to do it. if it's coming on while you are riding (moving) you have issues.
-
they're not different in almost every way than a car. your car has it worse. it's in a insulated box pretty much. it doesn't get the air flow like a motorcycle engine does.
-
the ram air is for the intake. (the air filter housing) it has nothing to do with the radiator. like I said, air moving through the radiator is what keeps them cool. if you turned it off, and let it coast down a 3 mile hill, the air rushing over the engine will cool it to a point. and the air through the radiator will cool the coolant in the radiator. but not the engine. the hot coolant is still inside the engine. that's why you have a water pump. but it only runs when the engine is running. my bike has almost 40k miles on it. It's been turned off when it's that hot hundreds of times.
-
change the thermostat. and make sure your radiator is clean. if you've been using tap water in it, it's probably plugged up with calcium deposits. using a vinegar solution works for breaking that stuff down. and is often recommended by service manuals for most cars etc. or confirm your temp is correct with other means. such as a infrared thermometer. check it at the inlet neck in the head. that's where the coolant sensors are usually located for most engines. water pumps are not a magical device that keeps your engine cool. it's a solid impeller on a shaft that circulates the water when the engine is running. the only thing that fails on a water pump is the seals. if the impeller breaks, you probably have bigger issues. like motor damage. the thermostat is the only thing that controls the temps of your engine. they fail. it's just part of their design limits. run without one, the engine never heats up enough run with one not functioning (opening) then your engine over heats.
-
I'll go ahead and answer for Isaac's papa. 1. running the fan does nothing but kill your battery. the water isn't circulating with the engine off. 2. a running engine still makes heat. riding it just keeps it hot. it's not going to heat up beyond what it already is no matter how hard you're riding it. air flow through the radiator guarantees that. your bike will not blow up because it's turned off in the summer heat.

it's really sad to watch someone go through this. my great grandfather had it. he got to the point he wanted to go outside thinking it was the bathroom door. didn't know any of us anymore etc. he was just out of it totally. like a who other person without a clue what's going on around him. basically he became a infant in his mind. it doesn't run in the family. he's the only one on record that had it.

Whoa...seriously seriously cool. Adaptive Headlight.

I can't imagine how much those things cost to replace. if my standard projector headlights on my R6 are $400+ new..those Bmw lights will probably be $900. if they have a bmw tag on them, add another $125.. -
man I've been riding down there since 2003 and I've only almost hit a dog...and a cow..yes. a cow.

reminds me of a assfaultjunkie move..oh no I didn't..

just lost power for a few seconds. not enough the computer couldn't recover but the fan I had on turned off and the monitor went out. I guess it's about time for Duke to start their enron to ohio since it's about 95 with 70+% humidity.. -
Any one know of any openings anywhere in columbus?

I'm in the same boat. I've been working at Patio Enclosures for more than 10 years. until last fall. I've seriously gone to about every single company in my area about a job in that field...nothing. been applying to 3-4 jobs a day 3-4 days a week since april. -

I'm not trying to degrade anyone who works in a warehouse position. but you folks know it's not a job that requires a lot of "educational" process. right now, I'd take that job. but I know I'm not qualified for it, I mean I've only been building additions on people homes, installing windows, doors, roofs(yuck!), concrete, electric for patio enclosures inc for over 10 years, fixing cars, painting (home and auto), worked at JTM food group after school, worked as a dock worker for Pitt-Ohio(certified fork lift experience), and delivered furniture for Globe furniture for a year, I'm a complete idiot that isn't qualified enough to figure out truck 22234 needs 10 pallets of Dr.Pepper and 8 pallets of snapple green tea. I should have used my Associates degree in warehouse management for land a sweet $20k a year job.

it's only a recession for the working person. the governement still gets it's same rate of taxes

is this the kind of thing why over 2 million people are still unemployed in our country? well, it's def part of it. (read the external requirements) http://cincinnati.jobnewsusa.com/job--Cincinnati_Warehouse_Jobs--Warehousing_Jobs_in_Blue_Ash_Ohio--Dr_Pepper_Snapple_Group_Jobs--Warehouse_Worker__Jobs--Job_10462943/C615T612U624E630T618V639C624H621.aspx you have to have an associates degree, 2 years experience AND forklift certification to be a warehouse worker now. And I'm sure the pay starts at $9 which is why they don't post it. we're headed to a society where it takes a doctorate degree to drive cabs and work at mcdonalds.
