It's too bad the Russians were banned, I'd like to see her.

That's when I do my browsing. Strange coincidence.

Meh...un-biased, out of state, and not very active, but been around here forever...makes me almost perfect. I check the forum at least twice a day. And only on my phone, so it's gotta be mobile friendly.

Can anyone recommend some curves close to the Mason/Maineville area?

275/71 has some decent 270° exits -
Dude gets lost, wrecks and then runs out of gas on way home from dealer.

This is why riders on Harley's don't venture far from the bars. It's a dangerous world out there. -
Maybe I just don't understand...anyone has a right to peaceful protest. When did it become ok to close roads, intersections, interstates, etc? Down here in Nashville they've been marching down main roads and holding up traffic, one hour sit downs at intersections. Memphis they shut down I 40... I don't get it...maybe I'm not supposed to...

Why must they voice an opinion on a highly debated issue...deleted my account this morning and jumped over to Spotify. It'd be interesting to see how much business they lose to competition by choosing sides. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10153728155201344&substory_index=0&id=5919726343

I've had the zumo 665 for years. It does everything I need.

I've not. They are rubber mounted. I've always been sensitive to vibrations and it's a smooth bike. Any vibration I ever had could be taken care of by getting the rear wheel alignment right. Fair points. I'm the opposite, I like the basic low tech of the bike. The power issue I had fixed with a Guhl tune and the full akro system. Most of my riding is sport touring though, 400+ mile days. I think it's set up for that well. The 10r is a sweet bike though. And entirely different power set up, gotta be a blast to ride. You'll be happy with it for a month or so at least. Ha.

Curious myself. I have found no fault in my ninja 1000. Serves my riding priorities perfectly.

Dropped my bike while loading. Will insurance cover the damage?
dustinsn3485 replied to cOoTeR's topic in Dumpster
Lesson learned? Bikes are made to be ridden, not trailered...they bitch and try to jump off the hauling device when given the opportunity. And what everyone else said about insurance. -
I've got a Garmin 665 I have mounted on the left handlebar. I use base camp for all my route building. Pretty simple. Garmin also blares Sirius/XM for me. Also have my passport right above it on the same handlebar. I prefer to use earbuds, so I've got an amplirider to send both signals to my earbuds. Pretty functional and works well for me.

To Aerostich or not to Aerostich, that is the question.
dustinsn3485 replied to Casper's topic in Daily Ride
Take a hard look at the Moto port suits if you are considering aerostitch. Can't go wrong with either, but both deserve their fair share of consideration. Moto port -
That bike is on my short list of bikes to add to the stable. Would love to pick one up someday. Speed definitely isn't the most important part of riding. Keep doing what you're doing, welcome to the forum.

Left the house this weekend with no destination, not a clue. I had one stop in a little city called Bell Buckle for lunch and after that, no clue. Decided I'd never been to Lynchburg, so rode thru there and past the jack Daniels distillery. It was busy. A couple random turns and unnamed roads put me back on I 24 at 2000ft elevation in Manchester. Had lots of daylight left so headed south and finally the mountains. 64/74 out of Cleveland, TN all the way to Murphy, NC for the night. Next day made my way back to 68 North to Tellico, then east across the Cherohala and lunch in Robbinsville then back west across 129 and finally headed home. Great to be back on the bike first solid outing of the year...gap run on a Sunday afternoon was terrible so many cars, cops, and cruisers . Cherohala was a clean run, it was crisp and clear at 5300ft elevation. I really like 68, always have. Not bad for a 600 mile two day ride.

Make one for the ninja 100 and I'll buy it! Lost your number years ago or I would have texted you.

I'm terrible with chain maintenance. I keep a can of chain lube on the bike and a can at the house. Just lube it before most rides and if I do more than about 400 miles I'll lube it during the ride about that time. I might clean it once a year with kerosene.

We have LG HE front load washer and dryer. Going on 6 years and not a single problem. Laundry always comes out clean. I like them both a lot and would buy again. Gonna look into the seal thing, never have pulled it off before.

I have no experience so my answer should carry minimal weight. That said, if he does pour the additional 4" on two sides, I'd want rebar drilled into the newly poured pad and coming out horizontally into the 4" section. In my mind that seems like it would help to ensure that it doesn't drop over time since half of the shed could be setting on just that section of concrete.

This has always been my thought as well. It's one less direction I need to have a complete focus of when riding. There's no doubt I'm still checking behind me, but if I'm ahead of the trouble, I won't be involved and if there is trouble ahead I'm paying that much more attention and will avoid it.

Pretty much following the trend. Only debt is the note on the house. I solidly believe in credit cards. I'll take an interest free 30 day loan anytime. It's not my money either, if my card is compromised I report my fraudulent charge and go on with life. I get anywhere from 1-5% cash back depending where I spend and no penalties when I redeem my rewards. We have three credit cards, one each and a shared. Usually end up with 500-800 a year cash back from rewards.

Now send it to Guhl and get it re flashed....

I've got Sonos set up with a soundbar and two rear speakers. Good quality speakers and the sound is great. It's all I need for as little as I watch TV. Also great because it has streaming music. And can add an infinite number of speakers throughout the house. All can be playing different things at the same time. Check out Sonos, pretty cool stuff with great sound quality.

Agree with the consensus... Do it right the first time.
