  1. When I referred to they, I was talking about the big corporations (not the individual who is on the board) who I would bet don't care either way. This is just free advertising to them. The sad part is, is that the NGLCC is needed at all.
  2. Not sure if I like the Sport bike Can on it and not the megaphone... that bike always looks good no matter what though...I think it got the re-design this year... 10.8 1/4 in stock form since 1985 is impressive...
  3. Full tank of Race gas??? That tank is toast then. time to buy a new tank for it.
  4. The only thing I don't like is that they are PROMOTING it. This type of thing in our society should not get any extra recognition cause they are no different from anyone else. Who cares what their sexual preference is.. I don't. Just putting it out there just opens it up for all the haters/people scared of it to attack.. If there are any attacks deal with it, but don't put a sign out for this, just treat everyone the same and there is no issue.
  5. I might be up for this.... Although I may be tired coming back from Denmark that week..
  6. There was some idiot on a red and black CBR coming down the hill next to the creek on 22 on the straight section decided to 110 past the 10 bikes in front and had to check over on Rob (RJH150 on LR) due to a van. Then buzzed me at 100 ish and did wheelie over one of the little rises. not a mile out of Falmouth... One of my first times being passed on 22. But I wasn't out to push (no sliders) and still having issues with the front end on the street 1k. I am going to throw a set of Diablo take offs on and see if that helps. If not I am going to raise the front to get more trail and stabilized some. It is just too damn nervous in the front for my liking mid corner.
  7. I know with my temper I don't have the personality to be an officer with all the truly disrespectful people you deal with. I can take a lot but once I snap it is generally big and that is not a good thing. I have a friend guy that chats with a group on Gixxer.com who was going through the academy when he came into the group, and has thus been moved into a department. I think he can blow your 95% 5% out of the water I would say he is more of a 70% bordeom 30% action down in Ft. Lauderdale if not more... I don't think I ever grew into a hatrid of cops, but more of a Distrusting feeling from my experiences. Be safe
  8. Does it take a lot to be a cop, Yes, Financially, character, and ability. However lets say your in the construction business and over 12 years every Plumber you've dealt with has either done shoddy work, charged you more then what should have, done half the work and told you all of it was done, takes twice as long to do simple jobs, etc.. How would your perception of Plumbers be? You also hear about these types of cases from all your competition contractors about Plumbers. You see the things they have done to other contractors. Yes most people who end up meeting a cop are for the wrong reason, so they will have a negative outlook on the situation. But it has taken 12 years for me to develop a distrust of officers over my few personal experiences, stories I have heard, and actions I have wintessed either to me or others on the road. From what you say, you are what I wish most cops were like, if they are like this then it sure doesn't come off that way, but I fear that it isn't the case. We could go back and forth on this (and I don't consider this an argument it is a discussion) for days. No I can't prove that the officer wasn't on a call, but if he was I sure hope it wasn't serious since he was taking his/her time.
  9. And if you were out in your cruiser and saw me riding and give a little wave I wave back. I don't just shun and act like cops aren't there. I am just at the point I don't trust them. If I meet one that proves that wrong great glad to meet one. As I added on the other quote in Red about the RR crossing he turned is lights off and just continued on his way not going fast or anything. I forgot I was on my way home at lunch to let the dog out (live 8 miles from home) when I went back through same spot gates were still down and traffic was still backed up.
  10. I understood my ticket in KY coming back from Atl I was registering 94 in a 70 but I had went +2 on my rear sprocket and with Suzuki Factory error I figured I was at least 15 mph or more actual speed less. But he said he clocked me at 84 in a 70, then wrote 82 in a 70 on the ticket. After he handed me the ticket I said "I guess there is no such thing as warnings anymore" his response was not on labor day weekend. He could have seen that I was from OH in Lexington at 10 p.m. trying to get home. I wasn't weaving in traffic, wasn't tail gating, there wasn't anyone around me. I told him I had made a guess of what speed I was doing but since my sproket and Suzuki error I had no clue.
  11. Well until I actually come across one who doesn't Lie, is courteous and understanding, or does things for own personal reasons. e.g. RailRoad crossing gates/lights were malfunctioning on a major 4 lane highway. Traffic was starting to back up (no train in site) and people were turning around. Cop turns his lights on goes down and through the RR crossing. Instead of checking, and then maybe directing traffic turns his lights off and continues his merry way... I see too much of cops doing what they should not be doing (taligating for no reason, not using a turn signal for 5-10 consecutive turns, stupid crap that they should be leading by example not encouraging.
  12. I couldn't believe how many groups were out... I know I may not head back there this year, that is just too many bikes in one area riding back and forth.. I know that Shell Station in Falmouth must like it though Brandon I had been at the station for few after coming down 17 to 27 from 275. Then we hit 22 out to 10 on way to 165... I figure if all the groups are at Falmouth 22 is somewhat clear and good to go. I do not like the front end on my Gix 1k Street bike at all. I hope throwing some new tires will settle it down, but dang is it a flighty feeling mid corner. Yeah I had one close call on on 10 heading back to 22. (couple corners from the 22/10 intersections). That blind right just over the hill. The 25mph suggested is BS I was at 35mph and no way in hell to make it witht he suspesion extended and on the brakes... The one guy behind us had awesome save. He launched into the field, but never went down. Do you guys just run the Falmouth to Rt 10 back and forth?
  13. STT puts on a good day at Putnam, I will only get 1 putnam day this year it looks like June 8th with Matt Carr and crew. I will make sure I have a fresh set of tires as it will be go time skippy and see what I can put out with the 1k there. Only place you have to be hisitant is T10. I think the only tracks I am looking forward to this year is Mid Ohio, Beaver Run, and Grattin Backwards (couner clockwise). Have to see if I like Nashville, and know I probably won't like Gingerman
  14. So what is your excuse???? Jess you will like Putnam. Though it doesn't have the Elevation and Technical aspect of Grattin it has more flowing feel to it and pays big dividends to mid corner speed. I still need to get out with Brandon and mix it up. We ain't been on track same time yet... 9500 miles in one year. My kind of riding. I hope to push the 12k this year on my 1k... Gonna be tough though with all the track time, but if I can race AMA in 2009 or 2010 it will be worth it...
  15. We never said Mike Brown was Smart...
  16. They are not all criminals, I think Henry was the one who gave them all the criminal issues, but I don't follow. I can't believe the bengals let him stay this long.
  17. Don't know, I found a CBR 600 Stunt bike and I think she went and saw it, but that was last I heard from here on this board or Gixie750's board.
  18. I knew it was truth not just rumors......
  19. Sorry I have that effect on girls... Where is my shaded corner.
  20. I guess this site is now ORDeN for short. Finally this site is faster then GDC... :woot: I am thinking this year I will get 10-12k miles on the bike...
  21. It ain't all true... Welcome.
  22. Well Satan I guess you can slide on missing that oppurtunity.. Don't let it happen again..
  23. I am just GDC waste..
  24. Ah so you don't ride the other side? Which is the side I prefer... At one time it was paved from Williamstown for about the first 6-7 miles then the last 4-5 was rough, but good the last time I was on it.
