  1. Thanks for looking. Guess I have to come up with plan "c"
  2. Thanks for looking. I'm gonna have to figure something out soon.
  3. Nope, not from the Columbus area. I know some folks down that way though.
  4. Any 486 motherboard will do, as long as it has at least two open ISA slots.
  5. Fucking up someone else's stuff "just because" is bullshit. Find out who it was and bust up some of his shit.
  6. No biggie. Let me know if/when you get it. Range time on me at Riverside for your trouble.
  7. Exactly. The motion card and the I/O card for the machine also plug into the backplane. I suppose any 486 motherboard with at least 2 open ISA slots would work too. I appreciate it - let me know.
  8. They always impressed me as a pistol you could use to beat someone with if you couldnt shoot it. I dunno...had a Redhawk revolver that was bitchin, liked that for a while. If you're going pick me up 100 or so rounds - if its brass cased, and $6.00 a box.
  9. Believe it or not, $300.00 is WAY less than the cost to reinvent the wheel. Anybody find anything in their basement/garage?
  10. I'm not a big Ruger fan, but if that's what you want who am I to argue? $6.00 a box for .223 sounds decent. Too bad FFF is such a hoof from my house
  11. Of course he did. He got called out for being a douche bag cocksucker, and ran away. Works with some people, sadly not with others.
  12. I'd go, but I got shit to do. What did you get?
  13. The board I need looks like this: Of course, one like this would work too If anyone has any of these let me know.
  14. If you have them let me know. I'd probably buy both of them. I could put in a new system, but I have some constraints to work within. The main one being the location of the PC in the main electrical cabinet as well as the wiring for the I/O and the motion control. The keypad and video connections are another issue (easier to work around, but still a PITA). Anyway, I'm trying to get this done without reinventing the wheel, if you know what I mean. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. Any vintage computer people on here? I'm looking for a 486 motherboard that plugs into an ISA bus so a customer can get his machine running. The CMOS battery in the old one has gone tits up. Usually I'd just replace the battery and let it go, but this board has the CMOS battery integrated into the BIOS chip. If anyone has something that would work, let me know. Thanks!
  16. Makes for a tight package for sure. Any problems with valve float on the 600's?
  17. What thickness head gasket are you using?
  18. I've got an XD, and I know the trigger safety AND the grip safety have to be active to fire the pistol, but I've still got this mental issue to get over of not having an "locking" safety. I never had that issue with any of my 1911's cocked and locked. I guess having to make that move (sweeping the safety off) was a security blanket of sorts that I got used to. I'll have to see how things go with the XD.
  19. Fail. Dude said he doesnt want any composite guns. You know, I felt the same way for quite a while. I've got one now, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Not from the "composite gun" standpoint, but from the "how it works" standpoint. Seriously, I'm not 100% sure I'd be comfortable carrying it with the lack of a "real" safety. I'll have to see if I can warm up to it.
  20. Wow...I'll have to re-read this thread. I could have sworn it was about bikes....
  21. I had an original Detonics for a while. Nice piece for what it was. If I ever find another one, I'd probably pick it up. The Springfield Micro's are looking pretty good, but jesus that stuff has gotten fucking expensive since I've been gone. There are plenty of 1911's in small sizes out there that should do the job just fine. Seems like the only thing to decide these days is how much you want to spend.
