You should try IDPA. It's fun and competitive. All you need is a holster, cover garment (something that covers the gun when your arms are straight out to your side like a long flannel, jacket, whatever), mag holder, 3 mags (2 is usually enough), ammo, and $15. You don't have to get an IDPA membership. Lots of shooting from different positions. I found shooting from cover more difficult to grasp then shooting while walking and running. Two positions of which people seldom do when engaged in target practice. Moving targets, steel targets, shooting thru cars doors. Every stage is different and every Host club is setup different.
