  1. See, now JRMMiii...you take all the fun out of a debate when you go presenting things like facts, and data. Man! Can't we just bicker and argue for the sake of bickering and arguing. This is probably why you aren't married yet. 'Cause all your arguments have to make sense and have merit. Man, you're my boy, but you suck sometimes.
  2. I shudder imagining a world without garbage trucks. That would suck very much badly. Thought I wil admit not having done a TON of research on the impliations of there being or not being a tax cut for the top 2% of wage earners in the country, it does sound as if its something that could be better allocated than padding the pockets of those that are already sufficiently cushioned by dead presidents. All that said, a 1.4% raise is a slap in the face.
  3. And how many times has engineering garbage trucks put your life in danger for the freedom of your other garbage truck engineers or the littany of folks who's lives are better due to your truck engineering? Having worked for both publicly and privately held companies since my time in the Corps was done, that is less than half of the lowest raise I have ever been given, and I have always received one regardless of employer. I'm not saying that to imply anything about my work ethic, more to the practices of a variety of employers I have been in service to.
  4. http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2010-12-06-1Amilitarypay06_ST_N.htm Cosidering the commentary that has come from 1600 Pensylvania Ave. regarding our fighting men and women, I am surprised by this. I spent the lion's share of my time in the Corps under Clinton's adminsitration, and twice he tried to pass crap like this. Congress wouldn't let him, but the fact he did was beyond insulting. And that was after the first Gulf War was long over.

Nice pup! I have a 6 month old english mastiff female who's a little over 70 lbs. Perfect temprament for my two little ones. Aaaand, she thinks the cat I got stuck with in the split is her personal chew toy, which I enjoy. Congrats on the added canine chaos!
  6. On page 2 there was a hookers and food line. Guess we have a new option for our polls!
  7. kinda like it, mang. congrats!
  8. My RC's wishlist: - Re-coated swingarm - Forks re-done - Rider diet - PAIR & Flapper mods - Ti LV exhaust - More time spent with the owner
  9. I am thankful for being in a position to be thankful for anything. Been through plenty in the last two years, and still not done, but things could have gone worse. They haven't, and looking forward to things getting better each day. I have great friends and a wonderful family. And thousands of men and women who don't even know me fighting to keep it that way for me and mine.
  10. I have been up close with these two machines. Bump for a good guy and a good buy. If I had the caish, I'd pick up at least one. Perfect starter racebike for Zachman.
  11. I can only accept this post as a poor attempt at humor, because it cannot in any way be taken seriously in this thread. As for the POS human garbage that bludgeoned his 3 month old child to death on the street, pray you have the opportunity to take your life on the outside before someone takes it for you on the inside. It will happen much faster out here.
  12. Again, there is a special place in Hell for that coward that fled. RIP to the fallen riders. Truly sad.
  13. Spoken like an expert. So what did the trick or treaters have to do at your house to get candy this year?

Yeah. I was on a borrowed phone and wanted to get it back to the rightful owner ASAP. And I am jonesing for a new geek toy, so what was $9?
  15. May your loins become infected with the fleas of 1000 camels for perpetuating such blasphemy.

    Got my Droid this morning.
  17. What year is it, for one? Depending on how quickly those 40k were amassed and the maintenance done along the way makes a difference (as with any bike). I have a friend that has an '02 for a track bike that is somewhere between 60 and 70k. But it's well taken care of. Mine is an '03 that is just now at 20k, and shows no signs of being anything more than broken in and loved on. A high mileage bike is less about the bike and more about the owner.
  18. Tsk. And from someone who knows better, too. No iTrash.
  19. +1 on the build. I have done 3 in the last few months, and a handful of repairs. One was similar to what you had starting there, and it ended up being heat on the proc. A new fan, some clean grease and so far, so good (since May). Good luck!

+1 Just got off the phone with them myself and my Droid2 will be here tomorrow, and not a day too soon. My enVTouch (aka POS) was toast and past warranty. Keith, mad rep to you, sir!
  21. This is a good one....for me to poop on!!! Happy Birthday to my fellow Devildogs! And thanks to all who wish us the same.
  22. True. I think tbutera is just about off of formula and onto solid food. That sux, Kev. Gonna check my SF for this month today. I was already thinking about shopping for new car insurance, or at least doing a little price shopping. Sounds like I need to get hot on that.
  23. The Ohio State Fight song, which means my phone is ringing..........brb
