I rented a Nissan Versa in Texas for a week earlier this year. It's not a drivers car. Although very roomy inside. It also has a CVT trans that upshifts a just a little too late. The good thing is that I drove with my foot planted on the go pedal everywhere I went and still got 31.5 MPG all week long. I also drove a dodge caliber from Corpus Christi to San Antonio. Not a bad car. Might look into those too.

I bet your tender any put a deep charge in it. I've had that happen before where I left my key on. Find somewhere that will deep charge it over night and then see what happens.
