  1. ^^ See post above. ^^ If not, just find out the schedule for the classes, and do the walk in thing. They lotto off spots from people who do not show up. I got in the class the 2nd time. We actually had more people show up for the lottery than had actually scheduled the class.
  2. While I think 68k is pricey, building a vehicle from scratch like they are doing would not be as cheap as most would think. I got that eye opener when just looking at upgrades for my camaro. Even repo stuff from Year1 is expensive, and most need "help" to even come close to fitting correctly. Still 68k for a roller, even a complete one seems steep. Especially in the economy as it sits now.
  3. Agreed 100%. Great way for a beginner to decide if they really want to ride a motorcycle.

  5. 02 WRX. I like winter. I can pretend I can drive like Ken Block AWD donuts are a blast.

I did see a dodge stealth that was stupid fast on that show. I thought it ran a 9 something at 150 something but that was a while ago so my numbers are probably not right.
  7. How about you get him to test drive a few cars. Figure out a list of ones he likes and then ask if any has pros and cons about specific cars. Just asking for any random car under 40k will really not get you good information.
  8. Age shouldn't matter. I do think that more banning of people who post stupid shit would be nice. And if you get banned a bunch then it should just be permanent.
  9. That looks great. The maize and blue is in tribute to the Mark Donohue car that dominated the Trans-Am series in the late 60s. Atleast that would be my first guess from seeing it. I thought his car was numbered 9.
  10. I have AWD, why are the tracks closed?
  11. We didnt move far away. Just down the road in New Albany. There is a roosters down here now that isnt to bad. There is also a bar called the Goat. Never been there but its right around the corner.
  12. Welcome! That car looks great. When I bought my Camaro I was actually looking for a 66-67 Nova, but found an ok deal on my car. Kevin, your killing me with the graphs. They are hilarious.
  13. Welcome Matt, We never did get a chance to meet up for a bike ride. Maybe next year. That dog is huge in person
  14. Holy Awesome, Dude that rocks! Congrats to you for seeing it through. Any chance some of you money will make it back to you? That would be icing on the cake.
  15. Looks like you got a hell of a deal. Good job, and have fun.
  16. Meh, I am biased. I think 1st gen Camaros are the best Ford did something really good with the 03-04 cobras and then went away from it. I guess the same could be said for the last gen Camaros and Firebirds.
  17. Record the dog barking and then set up a stereo towards their house and have it play the recording at night when they are trying to sleep.
  18. I used the bike to run some errands on Saturday. It was chilly out. I am hoping for one or two more good weekends for a little riding. But I think our days are numbered.
  19. + rep too. As long as the build gets finished.
  20. I was over at a friends house watching the buckeyes play. We were flipping between this and the game. A 71 hemi cuda went up to 370,000(ish) and the seller didn't go through with the sale, I am assuming because it wasn't enough money. I wish they would show the cars more and the people less.
  21. Nice notch! Welcome to the board.
  22. Nice cars. Welcome to the site.
  23. That was really cool. He should do a replica of the missouri.
  24. New Albany to Downtown To work= 7:15 am 15ish minutes From work= 4:20 pm 20 - 25 minutes.
  25. Posting on craigslist for 500 is where I would start. Just be upfront with what you know is wrong with it and you shouldn't have any worry about selling it because of safety. Good luck.
