Aloha from the southernmost point of the state and prescription drug abuse capital of ohio! I am in Portsmouth. Do a lot of riding in Kentucky and the surrounding state parks. Been riding for quite a long time, been through many bikes. It's a passion. Anybody on here in my area? Any Buell love on here? And I'm assuming you can't post pictures from the mobile site? The site appears to be very limited through my iPhone. Anyways. Nice to meet you all and ride safe.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Gotcha! The controls for this forum are a bit different than what I'm used to :/

I ride in N.Ky behind Ashland/Flatwoods all the time. There's some great roads out there. 125 is local too. It's pretty good.

Older pictures. I'll get some more up to date ones with all the new modifications.

My ex had an 1125 cr. It was called the Kraken, and it certainly lived up to it's name (when it was running, anyway)

Sorry to hear you had problems. What was wrong? Im going to assume ststor, vr, or something along those lines? Theyre quite a lot of fun unless you get a lemon.

Hey another buell rider!

Welcome and nice 1125

Haha We are few and far anymore. Thanks. lol I get the feeling we've met before

2009s ate stators like candy. No fix. We went through more than one I believe. Plus we also had trouble with the throttle bodies binding because someone wasn't careful enough about putting the airbox back, and no one could figure it out for the longest time. Valve checks required dropping the engine...In general the trouble was finding someone who could work on it; even buell specialists had no idea how to deal with the thing. We went to every HD dealership within about 150 miles of San Francisco.

But yeah, the bike was a blast in the best of times. Eventually he sold it for the XB12; most all the fun and none of the hassle.
