I know that feeling. It's great to find a bike you truly don't see a viable replacement. I'd like to own more bikes, but I feel the same way about my FJR.

They're not for everyone. Also a big difference between a Gen1 and Gen3.

FJR are okay if you mod them, pretty rare to find one in stock form I did find this pic of @JustinNck1 on his before mods.

Just ordered my 4th set of tires for the year. Will be spooning them on just before the fall gap trip.

When I plumbed up my aux tank I used a metal quick disconnect ($$$) even though the plastic ones were more common on the forum for this application.  Plastic just didn't seem right to me.  Funny thing is, my fuel pump connections on both the FJR and Ural are all plastic.  Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about my connection.

Got 2 fresh tires installed on the FJR. Now if I can just make them last til end of the year. Oh, who am I kidding, I better just order another set.
