Kevin R.
My tranny died. Won't shift from 2nd with OD off, just revs up high. With OD after 2nd it acts as neutral and just revs. This is great considering I am broke, and just got 2 points on my license, so insurance will go up. Also still owe money on the car. Should have got a Honda. x1000 graemlins/doh.gifgraemlins/doh.gifgraemlins/doh.gif

Buckeye1647545503
dude check the cables on the throttlw body there is a bushing on fords that go bad and the cable fals out and then it burns up od. Also just don't put it in od and you can drive it if od is all that is out. Also give CTS trans a call they are on the corner of main and mink in reynoldsburg(WAY east) tell them that kirk's service center sent and see if they will drive it and check it out. they are great guys and I send ALL my trans work to them. Kevin R.
Ya that's what I've heard. The AODE to rebuilt t5 is 1400$. That's still expensive as hell. But cheaper than an auto.

Kevin R.
They said $1600 for a full rebuild with 1 year warrantee. They are gonna take it apart today or tomorrow to see if it needs a full rebuild. Is it bad I'm excited to have a new tranny? Haha. Going to be paying it off for forever. But the shifts are gonna be noice!
