I bought a handheld police scanner last year thinking it would be great. Very little happens. It is, however, fun to listen to how cops really talk to each other over their radios during slow times.

 

Listening to cell phone calls was much more worth the price, though. smile.gif

Nice I have a scanner I just never really programmed it cuz I was too lazy to look up frequencies.

I've heard that it isn't actually legal to be listening to police freqs in your car. I could be wrong since I only heard this. Not even from a good source.
