It was specifically built to make over 500+ hp and 280lbs of torque with up to 30 lbs of boost, also do be able to reach speeds in excess of 240 mph.

Many people have done this, I watched a show of a guy taking his Turbo Busa out to the Bonniville Salt Flats and trying to break a speed record. He had sonething like 400-450 hp and he had too much. AT 200mph the wind resistance was more than the traction he could put down to the salt, so he started to spin the rear tire! He shut it down. Suzuki gave him a special front nose for the bike and it was not enough. Cool show.

AFAIK, people have put the same size turbo on that engine as is on my Talon, which can put that 3200lb car into the 11's.

 

And I bet if you do the math, they flow about the same amount of air at peak RPM.

That last series of pics shows a registered max speed of 232 mph!! Sounds like a greasy stain on the highway to me. I don't think I'll ever have the nuts to get on a bike like that.
